Julie was on her room, reading her diary. She suddenly has this idea to finally write a book about a girl finding out she likes girls in her early twenties. But the question is how? She starts to write down the ideas she has. It's clear that it would be based on her own experience, but the story is the problem. Should she write a semi-autobiographical book or should she create completely new characters?

She opened her Macbook, that was another one of Lana's gift. She loves the gifts, but it makes her feel bad that Lana gives her this expensive gifts and she can't give her anything important, can't even go to see her. Lana was currently in London about to make a perfomance in a famous tv show, where she would announce a new single coming soon. She refused to show anything to Julie, telling her it was bad luck.
Julie watched the interview online, she looked gorgeous, as usual, with a blue dress and a black jacket. Everybody was laughing at her jokes and surprised at her answers. The interviewer suddenly asked her a question that left everybody in silence.

"So... you have been single for a long while, Lana" Lana stayed in silence with a grin on her face, wich made the crowd go while, and the interviewer face changed inmediatly. "Lana Sunderland, are you dating someone?" A part of Julie was waiting for her to say that she was dating someone and was really in love, but she knows it will double the atention.
"No... no, I'm not" That denial hurt Julie. "I'm not dating anyone at the moment, but that doesn't mean that I've been single for a long time. You just don't know and probably won't ever know who I've dated in the past, I've learn to keep that in private" The crowd gasped, and the interviewer was in complete shock.

Lana finally announced her new single Never Going Back. Of course that the crowd went insane again. She perfomed two songs, and her voice sounded so sweet. One while playing ukelele, another one playing piano. Two romantic songs. Whoever she wrote that songs for, Julie hates them. But Lana was staring at the camera with those green eyes, and Julie could feel as if she were singing to her. She realized she looked like an idiot by the way she was staring at the screen, but she's just so in love.
She grabbed her phone and texted her.

J: You were amazing, babe. I love you.

When Lana grabbed her phone, she inmediatly replied.
L: Love you too. I miss you already.
J: You'll see me soon.
L: When?
J: When you come back.
L: You better be on my apartment when I go back.
J: I can't promise anything.
Will you finally show me your new single?
L: When I'm back, don't worry.

When Lana was back, Julie was in fact in her apartment. She didn't saw her at first, but when she went to her room, Julie was sitting on her bed. She runned to her arms and pressed her lips against hers, and then they just hugged.
"God, I missed you so much"
"Please, it was only a couple of days" Julie replied, but she had missed her a lot too.
"I don't care, I don't like being away from you" She said, and kissed her girlfriend again.
"You owe me something..."
"Alright, alright... I'll play you the song. Come here" Lana took her hand and took her to her office, she sat down with one of her electric guitars, a shiny red one, and begin to sing. She was nervous, and she's usually not nervous to
Some of the lyrics of the song were:

I know what they say
I know that they whisper
They expect me to crumble back to them
But I'm not ever going back to that
I guess I could, but I won't stay
I rather die on my ride then going back

"I can't believe you've waited this long to sing for me" Lana grinned, being shy. Julie sat next to her and kissed her. "That was amazing"
"You really liked it"
"Of course I liked it. I loved it. You're amazing" She told her, with her amber eyes fixed on her. "But what is it about? Like, someone in particular?"
"Old managers. I'm telling you, those guys are expecting me to fail. And honestly I... I'm scared of failing too, but even so, I rather that then going back to them" She admitted. Her confession caught Julie off guard. Lana seemed like the most confident person, but here she was, admitting to be scared.
"You are scared of failing?" Julie asked.
"Yeah I... can seem pretty confident, and I usually am. But I actually know what I would do if I fail here" Julie stared into her eyes.
"You will just have to keep trying. You're twenty three, of course you're going to fail at some point. But you're still so fucking talented. You have to do what you like and not think much about other people, and success will reach you again. I'm sure" She said, tucking a strand of her girlfriend's hair behind her ear. "But I'm sure that if you're other songs sound as great as this one, it will be a success. And if it isn't, it's their lost" Lana smiled and kissed Julie in the lips. It felt good to actually talk to someone about it, to have someone to tell her that things will be alright. Sometimes it's all she needs.
