"I love her but... damn, this of hiding all the time makes me so damn anxious. Of knowing we might get caught, and she will be outed like I was. Her family and friends don't know yet, and I feel like she might resent me if she's outed because some photographers find us" Lana explained to Nick, while they were at her penthouse, sitting on the couch.
"Girl, you're in serious trouble. I warned you, you shouldn't have gotten involved with someone who wasn't out. It's too complicated. But you're already in love with her, and there's no turning back from it" Nick said.
"She's not ready to come out"
"Lana, you've been dating for what? Six months? Seven? And she hasn't even told her friends. I'm telling you, that girl probably doesn't even want to come out"
"Don't say that, she does" Lana said.
"Girl, we're not in the past anymore. It's 2024, it shouldn't take her this long"
"You're being an asshole" Lana snapped back. "It's not easy"
"Either way, you either stay with Julie despite her not coming out, and just stay with her in the hidden, or you break up with her and that's it" Lana's heart froze at the thought of losing Julie. She couldn't stand that idea, no matter what.

When Nick left, Lana locked herself in her office, sat on the piano and created a beautiful melody and a beautiful song, and decided that, no matter what, she will stay right next to Julie, and started to prepare how to apologize to her.
