Another day at office, another day where Lana felt with zero inspiration. She was sitting on the piano, playing some melodies, but wasn't sure what she wanted to do. She always teased with rock, with doing rock songs, but the truth is, she never fully left the pop. The band never wanted that, and she loved pop too, but just wanted to leave it for a while at the very least. Was it finally the end of her? Were all those years all she had to give? It seemed exagerate to think like that at first, but now? Damn, it seemed more real as days went by.
Frustrated, she went to Nicole's bar. That old cool lady that was her mom's best friend. The bar was pretty empty, and she was just serving drinks.

"Hi Nicole" Nicole smiled.
"Hey sweetheart" She said as she was cleaning. "Didn't expect you here tonight, there were no photographers outside"
"Well, years of experience. I think I learned something about hiding, you know?" The old lady smiled at her. Lana looked at her side, and she saw Julie.
"That girl is been here for a while. She didn't order any alcohol until an hour ago though. She's often here alone, I don't know why" She looked at Julie and sat right next to her.

"Hey there" Lana said.
"Hey..." Julie didn't look fine.
"Are you here alone?" She knew the answer, but decided to ask to her anyway.
"Yeah, I like to come here when there's not much people. It's kinda quiet"
"You come to a bar to look for a quiet place? Why not a library or something?" Julie shrugged her shoulders.
"This place is closer. Plus, libraries aren't exactly open at this hours, you know?" She turned to Lana, flashing her amber eyes at her.
"You have a point there but... what is it? Do you live in a messy place or something?" She nodded.
"Yeah I... I do. It's a building full of... loud people. And I have a roommate who's nice, but pretty annoying. So... yeah. I need some time for myself, maybe I'll get some inspiration here" Lana looked at her confused.
"Inspiration for what?"
"Well I... just want to write another book. So far, the two books that I wrote haven't really reached what I wanted to"
"Wow, I had no idea you were a writer"
"You didn't even remember my name, Lana. How could you know that?"
"Good point" She said one more time.
"You're a writer too, don't you write your own songs?" Lana nodded.
"I create the melody too, and with no co-writers help. Do you like my music?" Julie hesitated, and Lana smiled. "Wow, I didn't expect that"
"I mean, don't get me wrong, I haven't listened to all your music, and I think you're a great songwritter, but... It just seems that you're not completely free with what you do. Like... you could explore much more with genres, genres that expose more your abilities. 'Cause I really think that you're one of the most talented persons I've seen... but that talented is kinda wasted" Lana hadn't recieved that type of honesty from someone she knew since... well, she never recieved it actually. Everyone believes she's doing her best.
"You're right"
"Am I?" Julie asked, confused.
"Of course you are. I've been thinking that for a while actually. Like... I want to do other things, but I'm scared of doing so. Now, I have freedom to do what I please, I have people that trust me but... to be honest, I haven't written a song in over a year. I was too tired at first to even try, but now I'm thinking that it's just lack of inspiration. And it's okay, it was going to happen to me at some point. It just sucks that it's now" It was the first time Lana opened up about something like that to someone. She hadn't spoke to anyone about it, partially because she felt like no one could understand, and partially because it was kinda embarrasing. But something about Julie's amber eyes made her trust her.
"At least you were inspired at some point. You'll most likely be again. I don't think I ever liked anything I wrote" She sighed, took a sip of her drink and locked her eyes into Lana's.
"Why not?"
"At the time, I kinda liked, or I convinced myself that I did, but looking back it's just something I did, inspired too much in other writers and by what was the trend. But it's not the type of book I'd like to write" She admitted.
"What book would you like to write?"
"I don't know... maybe horror or mistery. Perhaps a mix of both"
"Really?" Julie nodded.
"What about you? What kind of music would you like to do?"
"Rock, perhaps blues or jazz"
"You know what I think that would fit you?"
"What?" Lana asked, expecting the answer.
"Folk, it definitly suits your voice"
"You mean like... Taylor Swift?"
"Yeah, like Taylor Swift. You have that type of voice, the type of voice that sounds really organic and would sound amazing in less commertial songs" Lana grinned at Julie.
"Perhaps you're right" She took a good look at her. Julie really is someone gorgeous. With her black and long curly hair, her brown skin, highcheekbones and amber eyes. She looked like a model even with that black hoodie and blue jeans.

"Anyway, I'm throwing a party this friday. Perhaps you should stop forcing yourself to find inspiration. If there's something I know, is that it doesn't come easy if you search for it. You should come to the party, you can bring someone if you want to"
"Wait, are you serious?"
"Why would I lie?" She said. "Give me your phone, I'm gonna write my number down" Julie did what she asked, and then Lana gave her the phone back.
"I'll send you the location. Show up at 10:00 P.M" Julie nodded.
"Alright..."
"Take a bathing suit"

Julie looked at Lana as she walked away, completely shocked. She was going to a party organized by one of the most famous persons in the world.
