Nate's POV

' To my best Nate,

First of all, i just want to thank you for coming to our lives, to my life. You've been such a good friend eversince. We've been through a lot. We fight and argue a lot, but not enough reason for us to seperate. I know you've been through a lot before you reach the life you have right now and i just want you to know that you deserve everything you have right now. And we just want to share to you guys this very special moment of our lives, me and Ingrid. We hope that this new chapter of our lives will strengten our friendship even more and we will be together until we reach the finish line. All i want is a happy ending for everyone of us. I hope, Nate, that you find your true happiness soon 'cause you deserve it. I want you to feel the happiness that i'm feeling right now being a groom to my dream bride. I must say that i found my woman but i still need my men.

Napangiti na lang ako sa mensahe ni Kylo. I'm happy for him. Genuinely happy. He's finally happily settling down. For sure hindi na makapag hintay na ikasal 'yon. Sobrang mahal niya si Ingrid kaya talagang mag babakuran na 'yon. Tinupi ko na ang letter at tinago ito sa bulsa ng coat ko.

Natigilan na lang ako ng biglang tumunog ang phone ko. Ng tignan ko ay tumatawag na si Leeya. Finally! May signal na rin.

Agad akong napatayo sa kinauupuan at sinagot ang tawag.

"Leeya? I'm sorry hindi ako nakatawag. Wala talagang signal eh...." Pamungad ko.

"By the way. How are you? How's the baby? Is everything okay there?" Ilang segundo siyang tahimik lang kaya napakunot noo na ako. I think something's wrong.

"Lee?"

"N'Nate?" Her voice is cracking. I think she's crying. Sinimulan na akong kabahan.

"What happened? Tell me, Leeya."

"N'Nate? I'm sorry."

"Leeya what happened?"

"I hope you forgive me..." Napalingon ako sa mga kaibigan ko na nag ku'kwentohan sa di kalayuan. Hindi na ako mapakali habang hinihintay ang idudugtong niya.

"I don't want to lie to you but hearing everything you said-f'for being a good soon to be father, a good husband someday makes me want to keep you even if it's not right." Naguluhan na ako.

"W'What do you mean?"

"Calm down, okay? I'm confused. What are you trying to say?"

"I'm sorry Nate, but..."

"Y'You're not the father." Bumagsak na lang ang mga baga ko sa narinig at hindi ko alam pero parang may kusang kumontrol sa'kin pa harap kay Kira.

"I...."

"I'm what?"

"I'm sorry, Nate. It was my ex boyfriend. We're still seeing each other behind your back. I know it's wrong, i'm sorry for cheating....and lying. But i can't take it anymore. This is not your responsibility." Ramdam ko na lang ang pamumuo ng mga luha sa mata ko at napangiti na lang. Nakakagago di'ba? Dapat magalit ako kay Leeya sa ginawa niya eh. Dapat umiiyak ako sa sakit pero bakit ganito? Umiiyak ako sa saya kasi it's not true. Hindi ko na kailangang pilitin ang sarili ko na maging ama kasi hindi pa ako ama. Hindi na ako kailangang iwasan ni Kira.

"Leeya?"

"I'I'm sorry Nate."

"Thank you. Thank you for everything. I wish all the best. I finally found my true happiness..." Nakangiti ko na lang na saad.
