I press a couple buttons, adujusting my microphone.
"Alright and adjust the lighting."
My assistant tones it down, then up a bit.
"Perfect."
"What did you need to broadcast sir?" He asks.
"You'll see now won't you?"
"I suppose..but the tech crews iffy about this..what if it messes with the rep?"
"I don't care about the rep."
"What? Since when?"
"Since now, adust the mic volume down."
He does as I ask, a few of the crew coming in to start the live.
"Alright. Whatever happens, nothing is to be cut off. Understand?"
They nods and look at eachother.

Lucifer comes in and sits next to me, handing me a coffee.
"They were put of that salty-caramel stuff you wanted so I just did regular caramel."
"Thanks."
He scoots closer and pulls my arm into his lap.
It's just a habit now.
He plays games on it like a tablet and it keeps him busy while I work.
Although I'm gonna need him for this live.
He better hurry up with his game.
"So Als not coming?"
"He's coming but not until I have his soul, just in case."
I nod, "and Charlies watching the channel with her mom?"
"Yep, shes ready for the live to cut in."
I nod, taking my arm.
"Go sit down on the couch."
"I want sit here."
"No,"
"Pleeeease" he begs.
"And this is our king." I mumble. "Fine, but you're not getting my arm."
"Okie!"
His little snake tongue rests out against his bottom lip as he smiles.
He looks like a dork.
He IS a dork.
But.. he's my dork.
I smile back and the countdown starts.

Lucifer takes my arm back as it starts, I'm going to kick him I swear..
"Welcome citizens of pride city to my broadcast, Yes I know it's very odd of me to go off schedule with a broadcast on a different day? But I have a HUGE announcement, one that will shake the riffs of hell all together."
I pull me arm away, getting his attention.
"As we all know this is our king, the first sinner of all time, Lucifer. Say hi dear,"
"Hi!"
Okay that was really cute.
I chuckle a bit and look back at the camera.
"We have an announcement for you all, it's very important so shut the fuck up and listen!" I use my hynosis to draw in the attentions of everyone.
"As NONE of you expected, the king and I are dating!"
The crew gasps behind the cameras, all panicking as reviews flood in.
"I have no fucks left to give about the rep this will get me, good or bad, and this is also.."
lilith storms in.
"Just a diversion."
Lucifer jumps up, shooting some magic at her, and I use my wires to hold her against the wall.
"Quickly!"
He puts his hands up to her, whispering a spell.
