I sit down next to Vox, pulling his arm into my lap while he eats.
Al made jumbalaya for dinner since his mom is still here, and It's not that I don't want to eat it, I just cant.
Anything spicy upsets my stomach, horribly.
Lilith used to say I'm "worse than a female on her cycle."
Because I will lay balled up in bed until it goes away.

He sets down the pot of jumbalaya on the table, setting a small bowl in front of me.
"I didnt season it with anything spicy. And I put sugar in it. Try it."
"You put sugar in it?"
"Well it's you. You'll eat anything if it has sugar in it. Just try it."
I look at it, taking the fork, "It's not spicy, at all?"
"No, I swear on the lord himself."
I take a little bite.

"It's..amazing!"
"Yeah? Good." He kisses my head before he sits down.
I look up at Mrs. Hartfelt, she's smiling.
"You're giving me one of Als smiles."
She laughs a bit. "Sorry sweetheart, you're just..so not what the bible says you are..you're actually kind of..adorable.."
"Agreed." Vox adds.
"Yep."
I look at Al and vox. "Really."
"Oh yeah, 100%" Vox says.

I'm just gonna shut up and eat before this conversation goes to far in a direction I don't like..

"So how was your day, mother?"
"Oh it was lovely, Charlie really is a delight!"
"I'm glad,"
Mrs. Hartfelt gives him a light smile.
"Oh! Sera gave me a little something, I wanted to show you all!" She stands, pulling out a small necklace.
Slipping it on, and rubbing the charm.
Her pure angelic form sprakling into a form like Alastors..
"Woah.! You look like Al!" Vox says.
"She said it'd be safer if I weren't openly walking around as an angel, which she isn't wrong."
"This is amazing! Can we take her to meet rosie?" I ask, looking at Al.
"I don't know..it's kind of sickening even for me being out there."
"Pleasee! Pretty please!"
"..we can. Tomorrow. It's getting late."
"Yess!! You're going to love rosie! Everyone loves rosie!"
Mrs. Hartfelt laughs a bit, "I'm sure, dear."
