I sniff, turning in bed.
My head hurts so bad..
The door opens and Vox comes in, sitting beside me on the bed.
"I got you some medicine, can you sit up?"
He groan, sitting up anyways.
"My head hurts.."
"I know, hun."
He hands me the pill and a water bottle.
"Gross.."
"Just take it, you'll feel better in no time."
"Where's Al.."
"He's uh- taking care of a little one with charlie. Long story."
I look at him, confused. "Since when did Al like children."
"Has he ever stated that he didn't?" He asks.
"Well no- he just..gives the vibe."
"Thats..fair. But everyone sees niffty as a child right? He loves niffty."
"Does he-?"
"Yeah, he always has. Like a proud little girl dad. Even back before our fight, niffty was his favorite. Never even threatened her."
"Thats..cute.."
I take the medicine and chug some water.
"Are you up for some food yet?"
"No..I'm not hungry."
"Right, well make sure you eat something, yeah?"
"Okay.."
He kisses my forehead and gets up.
"I'd better go check on them, Love you."
My face heats a bit..more than it already was..
"Love you too."
Yeah. I'm gonna have to get used to that.
I watch him leave, looking down at my lap once the door shuts.
I am kinda hungry..
But I don't want to eat.
What if my stomach can't take it and I vomit.
I will start sobbing.
And I will be a mess.
No way am I letting them see me like that.
I'll be fine.
The sickness with go away in a short while anyways!
