"Eugh. He smashed everything in my office because I started dating and now he doesn't have me as a toy in his stupid game. And I lost thousands of files.."

I look at Al, who's not said a word.
Is something wrong?

Carmilla clears her throat, "good afternoon everyone, it's been a long while since the last extermination, Clara has run some numbers, and at this rather quick rate, we'll have over population of mortal sinners very quickly, which is good that you have joined us Alastor, and Lucifer, how is the situation with redemption? We need alternative."
"We had a successful redemption, but the rate is slow at the moment due to heaven trying to figure things out." Al explains.
"Okay, send the princess my congratulations. I had hope for her."
"Will do."
I look at him, he's focused on carmilla.
Did something happen?
Something just..seems off.
"I have spoken to the seraphim, and she is setting up a way to redeem souls without killing them, but it has to be approved by the lord." Lucifer adds.
Carmilla nods. "That just might be what we need. I know some of our overlords here still prefer sadistic ways, and other rule their own parts of hell, but I do believe things will go horribly wrong if hell over populates."
"I know. I can assure everyone here me and the seraphim are working together on this. I regret signing off on exterminations at all, and she's deeply sorry things went the way they did."
"That is refreshing to hear, heavens not exactly..open minded. But I do thank you for joining us, and I ask that you join me in my office after as I have something to discuss with you, mr morningstar.
Lucifer nods, and the meeting continues as normal.
I'm still worried about Al.
