His mother knocked gently on the door, peeking in with a warm smile. She placed a tray of tea and some snacks on the table and handed a small bowl of fruits to Himani. "Yeh lo beta, tumhare liye," she said kindly before leaving, giving them some space.

They exchanged a brief, grateful glance before casually starting a conversation. As they spoke, their talk drifted to lighter memories, reminiscing about his awkwardness during the initial days of their marriage.

She chuckled softly at one of his anecdotes and then paused, a playful thought crossing her mind. "To.. aap bed pe hi so jaaya kijiye na.. neeche comfortable bhi nahi hote hoge," she said with a teasing smile, her tone gentle but mischievous.

He blinked, slightly taken aback by her suggestion. "Aur tum neeche soyogi? Pagal ho kya?" he asked with mock sternness, though his eyes softened. "Baby ko aur tumhe thand lag jayegi," he added, his protective nature surfacing.

She hesitated, her fingers nervously fiddling with the edge of her dupatta. "Nahi.. I mean.. hum.. hum dono hi bed pe so jaayein.. agar aapko theek lage to," she said shyly, barely meeting his gaze.

His eyes widened slightly in surprise as her words sunk in. He blinked a couple of times before a slow smile crept across his face. His cheeks flushed a faint pink, and he couldn't help but look at her with a mix of amusement and bashfulness.

She noticed his reaction and quickly looked down, biting her lip to stifle a smile. "Chai pi lijiye.. thandi hojaaygi," she said, her voice quieter, as though trying to change the subject and ease her own awkwardness.

He nodded, still smiling softly, and reached for the cup, his movements deliberate to hide his own shyness.

She stole a glance at him, watching as he took a sip. Her heart fluttered at the sight of his slightly flustered demeanor. She turned back to her bowl of fruits, picking at them quietly, her own cheeks now tinged with a delicate pink.

After a peaceful Sunday breakfast, Sumedh leaned back in his chair and looked at Himani thoughtfully. "Aaj kahi bahar chale?" he asked, his tone casual yet inviting.

She paused for a moment, tilting her head slightly in surprise. "Bahar? Kuch kaam hai kya aapko?" she asked curiously, glancing at him with mild hesitation.

He shook his head with a small smile. "Nahi.. bas aise hi. Thoda mind fresh ho jayega," he said, his voice calm but encouraging.

Her lips curved into a hesitant smile. "Ohh.. theek hai, chalte hain," she replied softly, but a flicker of worry crossed her face. "But.. kisine dekh liya to?" she added, her tone lowering as she nervously glanced away.

Sumedh noticed her concern and leaned forward slightly, his expression turning reassuring. "Abhi aur Sid ko bhi bula lete hai phir," he said with a confident smile, trying to make her feel at ease.
