Chapter 10

Both of them went towards their seat when the next teacher entered in the class. Ruhi sat on her place while Siddharth picked up his stuffs from his place and gestured Ruhi to shift a little to make space for him.

The entire row looked at him shockingly but then gave a huge smile while shifting a little. He smiled at Ruhi and sat down beside her. He was feeling very guilty as she got punished because of him. He looked at her palm from the corner of his eyes and then started searching in his bag if he had anything or not.

He kept the chocolate on the table and slid towards Ruhi. She looked at the chocolate and then at him. He smiled, held one ear and sweetly mouthed sorry and then gestured her to smile.

She took the chocolate and whispered with a smile,"That's okay ! You need not to be too apologetic."

"I am genuinely feeling very bad."He pouted while writing his number on the last page of his notebook and then slid the notebook towards her while keeping eye on the teacher and whispered sweetly,"Please call or text me.. when you get any information about Adya."

"Okay."Ruhi whispered back while hiding her pain.

"Give your number too."He whispered again. She nodded and wrote her number below his. He took the notebook and asked,"Juhi, right ?"

Ruhi looked at him with painful eyes and then sighed,"No, it's Ruhi."

"Oops sorry sorry, I heard it wrong. Sorry again yaar."He apologized. She simply hummed and focused in the class.

The classes went by like that. Few lectures were boring and few lecturers really delivered some productive stuffs. Abhishek's lecture started before lunch break and everyone's mind was tired by that time.

Siddharth was playing with his pen while checking his phone in the interval of every 5 mins. At the same time, he got the call from Adya. He didn't waste a minute and recieved the call in the middle of the lecture.

"Hello... kaha ho tum ? Kaisi ho ? Theek ho ? Mujhe kitni chinta ho rhi thi."He worriedly started saying without taking any break.

Abhishek and other students noticed him as his voice was audible. "Siddharth."Abhishek tried to call in stern tone.

Siddharth stood up and said in requested tone while going out of the classroom,"Dada please bas 5 mins, bahut important call hai. Abhi baat karke aata hu."

"Abe.. ruk ja. Class chal rhi hai abhi."Abhishek tried to say.

"Dada 2 min doo na please abhi aata hu."He said and went out of the classroom.

"Sir."A boy raised his hand after Siddharth left. Abhishek looked at him and he continued,"Main bhi 2 min mein aayu kya ?"

"Shut up ! Baithe raho."Abhishek scolded him,"Lecture par dhyaan do sabhi."

After 10 mins, Siddharth opened the half door and peeped inside. He looked at Abhishek and giggled nervously,"May I... come in.. sir ?"

Abhiskek was writing something on the board, but he turned his head to look at him and then checked time on his wrist watch.

"Bag lekar bahar khada ho.. kahi jayiyo mat. Lecture ke baad dekhta hu main tujhe."He warned him.

Siddharth gulped but didn't argue with him. He picked up his bag and stood outside. He was happy that he could talk to Adya for longer period of time. Siddharth closed the door of the classroom properly and called her again.

The class got ended after 20 mins. Abhishek took the attendance and went out. He widened his eyes when he noticed that Siddharth was still talking on the phone while giggling. But, Siddharth disconnected the call instantly and controlled his wide smile when Abhishek cleared his throat to gain his attention.

"Sorry sir."Siddharth said while keeping the phone inside his pocket.

"Come to staffroom."Abhishek ordered and went to staffroom while Siddharth followed him too.

Abhishek directly went to Sumedh's place. Sumedh smiled when he noticed both of them. Before, Sumedh could say or ask anything. Abhishek complaint about Siddharth to Sumedh as a teacher rather than a brother. Abhishek complaint to him because he is also their classroom teacher.

"Subha ki punishment kam reh gyi thi kya ?"Sumedh looked at Siddharth sternly, stood up from his chair and walked towards him. Siddharth took few steps back scaridly, but Sumedh held his arm to stop him on the place and twisted his ear,"Hmm ? Kam reh gyi thi ? Aur ye dada dada kya hai ? Kitni baar bola hai ki class mein bhool jaa apnein dada aur bhai ko.. sir hai hum tere."He twisted his ear more,"Tu hi aaise disrespect karega to baaki kya sikhengge ? Haan ?"

"Ahh ! Ahh ! sir. Sorry."Siddharth winced in pain,"Sorry aage se pakka nhi hoga aaise. Main bahut tension mein tha.. Mujhe lga Adya kisi musibat mein hai.. islea jab call aaya to control nhi huwa. Please.. Please sorry. Ahhhh!"He closed his eyes and winced in pain more as Sumedh twisted his ear harshly upon listening the reason.

"Mana tera first love hai.. first relationship hai. Lekin life mein balance bna kar chalna chaiye.. aaise to teri studies hamper ho rhi hai."Sumedh left his ear and started scolding. Siddharth bowed his head and nodded in yes while rubbing his ear,"Relationship and studies agar ek saath nhi sambhal paa rha na.. to breakup kar le. Warna aaise harkat dubara huyi to hum to karwa hi dengge."

Instantly, Siddharth looked at them with wide mouth and stammered nervously,"Nhi nhi.. main.. main balance kar lungga. Bahut pyaar karta hu main Adya se.. reh nhi payungga uske bina. Main manage kar lungga. Pakka. Abse complaint ka koi mauka nhi dungga."

"Good."Sumedh smiled, half sat on the table and took out a scale from his drawer.

Siddharth looked at the scale, gulped and extended his hand. Sumedh held his arm and turned him back. Siddharth widened his eyes and scaridly said while moving,"Kaha maar rhe ho bhai ? Idhar udhar lag gyi na.. to meri generation aage nhi badh payegi."

"Haan to shant khada reh na phir.. hil mat.. warna idhar udhar lag jayegi."Sumedh said while raising the scale in the air.

"Bhai... sir.. sorry na, please agli baar se nhi karungga."He scaridly said and innocently said when he noticed that his hand was coming down,"Aahhh Aai aai lag gyi baba.."

"Abe dramebaaz.. abhi tak to maara bhi nhi hai."Sumedh said while controlling his smile and left his hand,"Chal jaa.. bhaag jaha se.. next time se complaint aayi na to dekh liyo."

"Ji.. Thank you sir."He smiled at both of them and ran from there.
