Sumedh walked toward the center of the classroom with an air of authority, his sharp gaze scanning the room. His voice, though composed, carried a firmness that silenced any murmurs, "Kisi ko koi doubt?"

A few hesitant hands rose, including Himani's, who appeared nervous but determined to clarify her question.

He moved between the rows, addressing each raised hand with precision. His expressions softened slightly as he explained, his tone losing its earlier harshness. With patience, he ensured each student understood, nodding occasionally when they caught on. Despite his strict demeanor, his passion for teaching shone through, even as he scolded those who had not attempted the question beforehand.

Finally, he approached Himani, who sat upright, clutching her pen tightly. Her eyes betrayed a mix of fear and resolve.

"Batao," Sumedh said firmly, looking directly at her.

Himani stammered slightly but managed to articulate the question, her voice faltering. It was the trickiest one in the exercise.

Sumedh's brow furrowed as he listened carefully, nodding once in understanding. He straightened up, turned back to the rest of the class, and asked, "Ques no. 10 aur kiska doubt hai?"

His tone was even, but his eyes were sharp, scanning the room for any hesitant students. His movements were deliberate, and his body language exuded a mix of authority and readiness to assist.

As Sumedh scanned the room, a student replied with a nervous chuckle, "Sir, abhi to wahan tak nahi pahuche, but tough lag rha hai dekhne mein."

Sumedh raised an eyebrow, his lips tightening slightly in contemplation. He nodded, his tone measured but firm as he gestured toward Himani, "Theek hai. Tum baitho. Sabko ek saath hi samjha dungga vo."

Himani hesitated for a moment, adjusting her notebook and softly saying, "Okay sir," as she prepared to sit down. But just before lowering herself into her place, she leaned in slightly, her voice dropping to a near whisper, "And... I'm sorry for yesterday."

Her words caught him off guard. His eyes narrowed slightly in confusion as he tilted his head, his tone low but curious, "Yesterday? Konsi baat ka lea?"

"Umm... raat waali," she replied, her voice barely audible, her gaze flitting downward in embarrassment as her cheeks turned a soft shade of pink.

Sumedh's brows furrowed deeper, his confusion evident as he leaned forward slightly, his tone now firm but quieter to match her volume, "Kiss ki baat kar rhi ho kya?"

Her head dipped, and after a moment of hesitation, she nodded in a quick, affirmative motion.
