"Haan... aur tabhi Siddharth ko bhi bola ki tu bula nahi sakta tha, aur tabhi Siddharth sabse lad raha tha," one of them whispered, his brows furrowed as though connecting invisible dots in his mind.

"Haan. Mujhe bhi lag raha hai," the other replied, leaning slightly closer, his voice dripping with intrigue, as if they had stumbled upon some big revelation.

"Kamal hai bhai... alag hi scene chal raha hai yahan toh," another murmured, his tone half-amazed, half-amused. He raised his brows, exchanging a knowing glance with the others.

"Exactly," came the reply, this time in a low, conspiratorial whisper, the speaker leaning back with a smirk of satisfaction. His expression betrayed the delight of a secret theory shared and mutually understood.

One of them gave a proud smile, his confidence in their whispered deductions growing. He subtly passed the newfound "information" to another friend by scribbling it on the back of his notebook and nudging it discreetly across the desk.

As soon as Abhishek left, Himani quickly picked up her bag and collected her books. Her hands trembled slightly as she avoided making eye contact with anyone in the class. She rushed out, her footsteps echoing in the silent corridor. Some students exchanged glances but didn't dare to say anything, the weight of Abhishek's anger still lingering in the air.

Himani entered the washroom, her breathing uneven, and locked herself inside a stall. Leaning against the cold door, she finally let the tears she had been holding back flow freely. She covered her mouth with her hand to muffle her sobs, her body trembling as emotions overwhelmed her.

Meanwhile, in the staffroom, Abhishek stormed in, his face still tense with anger. Spotting Sumedh, he walked straight to him and said in a low but firm tone, "Tune sabko bataya hai ki Himani pregnant hai?"

Sumedh, who was sipping tea and grading papers, looked up with a frown. "Haan... situation hi aisi ho gayi thi... batana pada," he said, his voice laced with concern. "Kyu, kya hua?"

Abhishek's jaw tightened, and he exhaled sharply. "Tujhe pata hai tere jaane ke baad kya kya hua?" He folded his arms, staring at Sumedh with a mixture of frustration and disbelief.

Sumedh straightened in his chair, his worry evident. "Nahi... kya hua, Abhishek? Sab theek hai na?" He leaned forward slightly, bracing himself for whatever Abhishek was about to say.

Abhishek leaned forward, his voice simmering with restrained anger. "Theek? Bilkul bhi nahi. Tujhe pata hai, tere batane ke baad, uska mazaak banaya sabne. Itni ghatiya baatein... ghatiya soch. Pregnancy ko mazaak bana diya."

Sumedh's face paled. "Kya? Kisne? Aur Himani... woh theek hai na?" His voice wavered as he pushed his chair back and stood up, anxiety flooding his features.

Abhishek shook his head, pacing in frustration. "Kaun theek hoga aise environment mein? Bechari ro rahi thi! Pata hai kya bola un logon ne? Affair ki baatein, sex life ki baatein, shaadi ka mazaak. Aur Himani bas ro rahi thi, bina kuch bole."

Sumedh clenched his fists, his eyes hardening. "Kaun tha? Kisne kaha yeh sab?" His tone grew sharper, anger boiling beneath the surface.

Abhishek looked at him pointedly. "Puri class mein se sirf kuch log uska side le rahe the, baaki sab ya to has rahe the ya mazaak uda rahe the."
