Sumedh made an irritating face and slowly opened his eyes when he felt that something moved under his arm. Immediately, he sat up straight when he realized that his an arm was rested on Himani's stomach and another arm was on her forehead.

"Sir..."Himani embarassingly said and then looked towards the wall.

Sumedh looked away and answered before she could complete her sentence,"Raat ko bahut teez fever aa gya tha. Medicine khilani chahi but behosh thi.. Aai baba bhi soo chuke the. Mujhe kuch samhj nhi aaya islea thandi patti karni padi."

"Sorry.. meri wajha se itni takleef huyi."She replied in low voice without making any eye contact.

"You better me."He said without any hesitation. She looked at him surprisingly when he continued,"Kitna kaam tha mujhe kal pta hai. Jab feverish feel hone lage tabhi medicine kyu nhi khayi ? Ek dum se to fever teez hota nhi hai. Last time bhi fever ho gya tha college mein... utha kar medical room lekar jana pada tha. Uss din bhi dant padi thi mujhe. Kal phir fever ho gya tha. Kaam complete nhi huwa... phir dant khani padegi aaj."

She sighed,"Main kar deti hoon complete."

"Koi zarurat nhi hai.. student ka nhi.. teacher ka kaam hai.. kar lungga main."He said while standing up,"Dant khane ke baad."

"Main kar dunggi.. bas bta dijea karna kya hai."She said while sitting up.

"Kaha na kar lungga main. Aur baith kaha rahi ho ? Leti raho.. Aai ko bol dungga main... dhyaan rakh lenggi vo tumhara.. aur tumhari tarhaf se medical bhi submit kar dungga college mein."He replied while walking towards his table.

"Zarurat nhi hai. I am fine."She said while getting down from the bed.

Sumedh looked at her and irritatedly said,"Baat kyu nhi sunti ho tum meri ? Na class mein na ghar mein. Fine... jo krna ho karo. Lekin agar weakness ke chakkar mein kahi gir gira gyi na... to na uthayungga aur na kisi ko uthanein dungga... padi rehna wahi par."

"Theek hai."She calmly said and went to the washroom.

maine diya hi nhi... phir phir."He started thinking,"Homework ? Yes... homework notebook chupa deta hoon iski."He gave an evil smile while looking for her notebook,"Ye rahi."He opened the notebook and turned pages,"Are.. chupanein ki to zarurat hi nhi.. kiya hi nhi hai isnein... aaj mila hai na mauka. Aaj chuha... nhi nhi murgi ko pinjere mein bandh karungga. gir ra kar maafi na mangwayi na to mera naam bhi Sumedh nhi."

Everyone stood up when Sumedh entered in the class. He smirked and said while looking at Himani,"Good morning... Good morning. Sirf wahi baitho jiska homework complete hai and notebook bhi hai."

Everyone's smile disappeared within a second and looked at each other worriedly. Sumedh's smile lessened too when he noticed that only half of the class sat down.

"Aur tum sab ?"He looked at others,"Nhi kiya ?"
