Abhishek's eyes burned with rage as he stepped closer to Himani's uncle, his voice cold and threatening. "Vapas kabhi iske aas paas bhi dikha na to taange tod denge teri, samjha na? Jo kuch karna tha tune kar liya... ab ise haath lagani ki chhod, tune iski taraf dekha bhi na to humse bura koi nahi hoga." His words were sharp, each syllable dripping with unrestrained fury.
The uncle smirked defiantly, his audacity unwavering. "Tu kaun hai ab? Tujhe bhi deti hai kya?" he spat, his words venomous and vile.
Abhishek's patience snapped like a taut thread. "Saale!" he roared, his fist connecting with the uncle's jaw with a sickening thud. "Meri bhabhi hai woh, aur mujhe rishton ki respect karni aati hai. Teri tarah lichhad nahi hoon!" he shouted, his voice echoing across the ground.
The commotion grew louder as onlookers gasped and murmured, their eyes darting between the fighting men and the sobbing Himani.
Before the situation could escalate further, a deep authoritative voice cut through the chaos. "What is happening here?"
All heads turned as the director strode out of his office, his face stern and disapproving. His eyes widened in disbelief as they landed on Sumedh, standing protectively in front of Himani, her frail figure trembling as she clung to him. "Sumedh sir?" the director asked, his tone sharp with a mix of shock and disappointment.
Sumedh slowly turned to face him, his expression calm but resolute. "Sir... I can explain," he said, his voice steady despite the storm that had just unfolded.
Himani, however, didn't move. She remained buried in Sumedh's chest, her grip on his shirt unyielding as fresh tears soaked through the fabric. She was oblivious to the arrival of the director, her world consumed by fear and the need for safety.
The director's commanding voice sliced through the chaos. "Come to my office, all three of you. And the rest of you—back to your classes. Teachers, please disperse," he said firmly, gesturing to the crowd. Turning to the guards, he pointed at Himani's uncle with steely resolve. "Guard, get this man out of the campus. Now."
The guards grabbed Himani's uncle by the arms and began escorting him out. He resisted, shouting profanities and trying to pull free. "Himani! Come with me!" he barked, his voice laced with fury. When she didn't respond, didn't even look at him, he descended into vile insults. "You worthless girl! You think you're safe here? You'll see what happens!"
Himani clung to Sumedh as if her life depended on it, sobbing quietly but uncontrollably. Her uncle's voice grew fainter as the guards dragged him out of the campus. Only when his abusive shouting completely faded did she begin to loosen her hold on Sumedh. She broke the hug slowly but was still trembling, her body shaking as though from the cold. Her legs felt too weak to stand firmly, and she wobbled slightly before gripping Sumedh's arm for support. Her teary eyes darted nervously around the surroundings.
