He smiled and started roaming again. He was about to go back to the front but stopped near Himani's bench when he noticed that she was typing in the laptop rather than studying. His smile vanished and looked at her with narrow eyebrows.

"Stand up."He ordered her.

She looked at him and then stood up while Sumedh turned the laptop screen towards himself. He checked what she was doing and then closed the laptop and turned towards her furiously.

"What were you doing ? I don't think so maths or the work which I gave require laptop or any other electronic device."He asked after crossing his arms.

"I have already completed the work which you gave and in addition to that I have also completed the upcoming syllabus. I had nothing else to do, so I started doing my other work. I couldn't take your permission, because you preferred to sleep during the class like a student."She bluntly said while looking into his eyes.

He kept looking at her for few seconds without even blinking his eyes. The whole class also turned towards her and was looking at her with dropped jaw.

After few seconds, the only question he could ask was,"Are you not afraid of me ? You know right, I could give a very hard punishment for this kind of behaviour."

"Why should I afraid of you or your punishments ?"She answered immediately with the same confidence as earlier,"I didn't make any mistake and also I didn't lie. Even if, I believe that itnein bade baccho ko aaise baccho jaisi punishments dena sahi nhi hai, but still if you feel satisfy by punishing for speaking the truth, then I don't have any issue. You can punish me."

Anger started forming inside him,"Why you are sounding like I am some kind of psychopath and I enjoy giving punishments ?"

"I didn't..."She was about to say something, but Sumedh shouted,"SHUT UP ! If you know more than me and you have completed the syllabus, then why are coming to the class ? No need to attend my lectures. Or, it will be better, if you start taking classes in place of me. Then, I might get some peaceful sleep at night as I didn't have to worry about making notes tor all of you or setting questions papers."

She didn't say anything and looked down, Sumedh continued in the same furious tone,"But, as you are already standing in my class and you were doing your personal work during my lecture that's why, I am going to keep your laptop. You will get it back only after if you get permission from HOD sir. Got it ?"

She nodded in yes. "Hmm.. Good."He said and turned to leave from there, but he stopped and turned back at her,"Kaam to tum kar chuki ho... aage ka syllabus bhi padh chuki ho.. to haath ka kya karogi ?" She looked at him and gave a confused look.

"Go there, kneel down and raise your hands."He angrily ordered while pointing beside the board,"Aur agar next time mera lecture attend kiya... galati se.. to chup chaap wahi jakar kneel down karke hands raise kar lena... koi zarurat nhi hai mera lecture sunne ki ya notes lene ki... miss omniscient."She didn't answer anything. Sumedh controlled his anger a little, but still gritted his teeth and said,"Agar mujhse kisi special person nein ye na kaha hota na ki gussa kam kiya karo.. to I swear main tumhari bahut hi buri halat kar deta. Batameez bacche kahi ke. Pahucho aage."He said and stepped aside,"Padhna likhna hota nhi hai tum sab ko.. ulta jawab dilwa lo. Ye badi badi baato se job nhi milti hai. End mein jab interview clear nhi kar payoge, tab galiya bhi hum teacher ko bhi doge ki unhone kuch padhaya nhi. Tab yaad thodi rahega ki kabhi class mein aashiqui kar rhe the.. to kabhi padhai ke time par personal kaam kar rhe."

Everyone concentrated in their books while Himani walked to the front, knelt down and raised her hands. He muttered few more lines angrily which wasn't audible to anyone and then went to the front as well.

"Next lecture kiska hai ?"He asked to the class.

"Sir.. P- Physics."Someone answered in the class.

He hummed and looked at Himani,"Physics ka bhi aage ka syllabus kar liya hoga tumnein to phir ?"

"Yes sir, kar liya hai."She answered while looking into his eyes without any hesitation.

"Then, no need to go back to your seat. Continue your punishment. And don't forget.. meet me in the staffroom in lunch break."He told her while picking up his stuffs, then he turned towards the class and announced before leaving,"If she moves from here then let me know."

Everyone giggled among each other while looking at Himani and started passing few comments.

"Jyada savage ban rhi thi."One of the girl giggled.

"Shi kaha sir nein.. itna hi aata hai to class kyu aate ho ? Ghar baitho."Another one said,"Mujhe to lga tha.. iski wajha se sabko dant par jayegi... thank god kuch kaha nhi."

"Wait a second, what did he say ? Someone special ? Is he dating someone ?"Another one muttered.

"Attention ka lea log aaj kal kya kya karte hai."Another one sighed before Abhishek entered in the class.

"Good mor-"He was about to complete his line, but stopped when he noticed Himani,"What are you doing here ? Abhi tak to meri class shuru bhi nhi huyi.. answer sheets bhi nhi di maine to.. pehle hi soch liya ki marks kam aaye hongge ? Khud se hi punishment karnein lag gyi ?"He giggled and then continued before Himani could reply,"Chalo jao seat par.. physics mein top karke aaise punishment mein acha lagta hai kya ?"

"No sir."Instantly, everyone said,"Sumedh sir nein punish kiya hai. Kaha hai yaha se hile na."

"Mujhse se usnein kuch nhi kaha aaisa."He told them and then again looked at Himani,"Jao.. jao.. seat par jao."

"No sir..."Everyone tried to say again in loud voice.

But, Abhishek interrupted in between,"Are.. shant shant, Teacher main hu ya tum sab ?"

No one said anything after that. Himani stood up and went back to her place silently after saying 'Thank you' to him. He smiled and wished 'Good morning' to the class while removing rubber band from the bundle of answer sheets.

"Sir, aapnein bhi itni jaldi kyu check kar liye papers ?"A girl cried cutely,"Abhi abhi to Sumedh sir ki dant kha kar haate the.. aur ab aap. Please dantna mat aap bhi."

He looked at her and giggled,"Acha theek hai nhi datungga. Sumedh nein to quota pura kar hi diya hoga. Par agar main kuch na kahu aur next time bhi marks kam aaye... phirrrr ? Hmmm ? Hmm ?"He cutely asked too.

The first two rows of girls pouted cutely and blinked their eyes twice. "Uff.. aaisa emotional blackmail.. acha theek hai."Abhishek sighed with a smile,"Sabhi question paper ko as an assignment submit karengge monday ko. Aur jo jo fail hai.. pehle to sharam karo thoda itne easy paper mein bhi fail ho gye. Lekin kahi chullu bhar paani mile to usmein doob nein mat lag jana."Everyone giggled along with him,"Jo bhi fail hai.. vo ye paper 3 baar solve karega aur iss friday submit karega."

Everyone smiled and agreed with him. He distributed all answer sheets except Himani and then began with the class.
