"Le lijiye sir," Tina nervously extended her phone towards Sumedh.

He took it and spoke firmly, "Hello."

"Hello? Yes, sir?" came her dad's voice from the other side.

"Sir, I wanted to know last week Tina college kyu nahi aayi thi?" Sumedh asked, his tone sharp yet calm.

"Last week toh ise viral tha, sir... isliye nahi aayi thi. Kya hua sir, any problem?" her dad responded, sounding slightly concerned.

"No sir, just wanted to confirm," Sumedh replied curtly, his eyes fixed on Tina.

"Oh okay, sir," her dad said, relieved.

Sumedh disconnected the call, narrowing his eyes as he turned toward Tina. "Jao beta... tum baitho," he said firmly, though his tone softened slightly.

"Thank you, sir," Tina said with a nervous smile, quickly retreating to her seat. She tried to appear calm, but the slight tremble in her hands as she adjusted her books betrayed her unease.

Raj's lips twisted into a bitter smirk. "Sir... ye jhooth bol rhi hai," he blurted out, his voice tinged with desperation as he pointed at Tina.

Sumedh arched an eyebrow, his gaze flicking between them. "Ye? Tina?" he asked, his tone sharp, laced with curiosity.

"Yes sir," Raj said, standing straighter as if gathering courage. "Hum dono ne ek saath hi medical banvaya tha..." His voice trailed off slightly, but he quickly caught himself and stared at Tina.

Sumedh tilted his head, studying Raj for a moment. His face hardened as he turned to Tina. "But, iske papa nein to confirm kiya hai ki viral tha ise," he said, his voice dropping to a low, authoritative tone.

"Sir wo iske bhaiya the.. usne bola tha mujhe ki agar aap baat karoge to ye apne bhaiya se baat krvaygi, iske papa boht strict hain.." Raj said, his voice a little nervous.

"Idhar aajao tum bhi. Tum dono abhi udhar jakar khade ho jao." Sumedh pointed to a corner, his tone stern and commanding.

"Sir nahi, sach mein mere papa hi the wo.." Tina said quickly, trying to defend herself, her eyes wide with fear.

Sumedh's patience was clearly running thin. "Aur time waste mat karo mera aur class ka," he said, his voice laced with frustration. His gaze swept across the class. "Tum baccho ki wajah se hi class ka aadha time aise hi chala jata hai. Roz koi na koi pitta hai, lekin phir bhi majal hai sabhi sudhar jaye."

He paused, his face hardening. "Pata nahi teacher ko gadha samajhna kab bandh karoge tum sab." He turned back to Raj and Tina, his anger now evident. "Meet me after class.. both of you are suspended for the rest of the semester."

"Sir.. please.. sorry.. sir please," they begged, folding their hands in desperation, their voices quivering with fear.

Sumedh's gaze remained hard, unyielding. "Actually, padhnein ka maan to hai nahi shayad tum dono ka.. rusticate karna hi sahi hoga," he said coldly, his disappointment evident.

"Nahi sir please.. we really want to study.. please sir," they cried, their voices now filled with genuine remorse. Tina wiped a tear from her cheek, while Raj looked down, his face flushed with embarrassment.

Sumedh ignored them, his focus shifting to the rest of the class. His tone grew sharper as he spoke. "I am sorry everyone, class ka kaafi time waste ho chuka hai. Sabka homework complete hai?"
