Chapter Twenty!
real life + social mediaOnce everyone had slept in and were ready for the day, they started by of course going to breakfast. They stopped at IHOP and Azalea was pretty sure that the workers were a little terrified about seeing a tall group of girls walking into the diner. Azalea couldn't lie, if she saw a group of six feet tall women enter the diner randomly, she'd be pretty terrified to, she'd probably blush and get nervous, but terrified to.
They needed to be in different tables, for obvious reasons so they just split into the groups they came with. So at one table it was Paige Aubrey, KK, Azzi and Azalea, in another it was Ice, Jana, Ashlynn, Morgan and Kayla. Allie, Kaitlyn, Caroline, Ayanna and Sarah sat at the third table. People, unsurprisingly, stared at them, watching them as if they had two heads. But honestly, Azalea was pretty sure everyone was used to it.
Azalea sat in between Azzi and Paige since neither of them was going to be left without sitting next to Azalea. For fucks sake, the two almost started arguing over who was going to sit next to her. KK and Aubrey on the other hand sat comfortably on the other side of the booth, not being cramped or squished together. Paige argued that the whole hour ride to the hotel, Azzi got to sit next to Azalea, meanwhile Azzi argued that Paige got to room with her—Azalea was now realizing that maybe she shouldn't had grouped up with them.
Looking over her shoulder, she looked at Caroline who was sitting behind them in her own booth with Sarah, Ayanna, Kaitlyn and Allie. They actually looked like normal human beings and not a bunch of hyenas on the loose. "Carol?" She softly called out.
"Hm?" Caroline hummed turning to face Azalea.
"Can I join your group? Mine are fighting like a bunch of animals." Azalea asked smiling innocently.
"You can come sit next to us." Allie sweetly said, gesturing between her and Kaitlyn who were by themselves on one side of the booth.
Azalea smiled, but of course, her happiness was short lived. As she turned around, she saw Paige and Azzi looking at her with raised eyebrows, their faces screaming 'seriously?'. She pursed her lips turning back around to look at Allie. "Thank you for the offer, beautiful. Unfortunately I will have to decline." She said in feigned disappointment.
The girls at the table laughed at her antics, shaking their heads knowing how Azalea was practically screaming for help. "Next time." Allie smiled.
"Please." Azalea muttered turning back around.
"You act as if you're being tortured."
"I am. Arguing over me like a bunch of dogs." Azalea muttered, as she picked up her menu, looking at the breakfast options.
"It's all Azzi. She acts as if she's your girlfriend." Paige said, rolling her eyes.
