Chapter Twenty Six! real life + messages
The girls had recently arrived from the Bahamas where they had two games for the Baha Mar Women's Championship. For obvious reasons, Azalea couldn't go and she was extremely jealous of the girls. She helped them pack—of course—and gave them snacks for the airport and long plane ride, but she was also playfully bitter with them, pretending to be annoyed. But in reality, she wasn't actually.
Plus, she had a whole week to herself. No one bothered her in person, no one randomly showed up at her apartment, she didn't have to cook for anyone else so she wasn't really complaining that much. Azalea had a week to catch up on reading and rewatch Arcane one too many times and cry every time she willingly watched the last scene with Isha.
However, when the girls did come back, her 'jealousy' went away when Paige brought her some things from the Bahamas. Anything that reminded Paige of Azalea, she immediately bought. Mostly cause she missed her but she also loved spoiling Azalea.
Thanksgiving had also passed and the girls had done a little Friendsgiving at Azalea's apartment which now seemed to become the place where they would go whenever they were bored or wanted to hangout. She didn't mind the extra company or anything, on the other hand, she quite liked cooking for the girls or that they were content on coming over to her apartment if they wanted company or something to do.
That being said, Azalea needed, or more so wanted help to decorate her apartment.
