Chapter Five! real life.
Two days.
It had been two days since Azalea and Paige met officially. And being honest, Paige felt like she was slightly losing her mind. She had talked to Azalea that day for hours, but stupidity had not asked for her number or socials, or anything! She wanted to slap herself in the face.
Luckily, Paige did find her Instagram and they started following each other, but unfortunately Azalea didn't have many posts on her account. It was clear that she was a private person, not really sharing much on her socials. Which, Paige would never admit, slightly disappointed her because she wanted to see her pretty face again.
Azalea on the other hand was very normal about the whole situation. Sure, she did miss talking to Paige a little, but honestly thought that Paige was just being nice and friendly. She had many friends so that wouldn't be anything unusual. But, she had to admit that talking to Paige was like a breath of fresh of air. Their conversations flowed easily and never once was it awkward. And Azalea was a pretty awkward person, so that's saying something.
She had followed Paige back on Instagram instantly seeing the difference between their accounts and socials. While Paige had almost 3 million followers and many posts on her page, Azalea kept hers simple and not really active on it either. Sure, she had more than enough followers, but it was rare for her to post anything. If people wanted to see her, they'd probably have to go to Azzi's account, considering Azzi probably posted her more often than she posts herself.
Either way, neither could stop thinking about each other. About the way they talked, laughed, and looked at each other.
Paige had acted a little spontaneously and had asked Azzi where Azalea would be right now. Azzi already practically being their number one fan, told Paige that today Azalea would be working at Barnes and Noble on her shift.
"Aubrey's gonna kill you, P." Azzi warned her but Paige paid no mind, grabbing her keys and already being out the door. She'd deal with Aubrey later. Right now, she wanted to see Azalea again.
Driving to the Barnes and Noble library that Azalea worked at, Paige started to feel a little nervous. She was actually doing this. She didn't even know what to do at a library. She had no plan either.
Was she supposed to just walk in and expect to see Azalea there? Or was she supposed to walk around and look for her? No, she'd look like a creep.
Paige groaned in annoyance as her thoughts ran 100 miles per hour. Resting her head on the steering wheel, Paige took a deep breath to calm her nerves. She was already here so she'd at least get it over with, even if it meant embarrassing herself.
