Chapter Eleven!
real life.Azzi and Azalea pulled into the parking lot of the soccer game the UConn Soccer team was having. The girls decided to go to the game since everyone was bored and they wanted to support the other sports at UConn. So naturally, Azzi dragged Azalea with even though Azalea was on the verge of falling asleep.
"Come on, we're here." Azzi said unbuckling her seatbelt and patting Azalea's shoulder. She had her head leaned against the window as she fought the urge to simply take a nap in the car.
"Azzi, I'm tired, let me sleep.." Azalea mumbled, pulling the blanket she had closer to her. She was literally in her pajamas and so was Azzi, yet she still brought a blanket, wanting to be as comfortable as possible.
"Zee, it's only 8. How are you tired?"
"How are you not? Didn't you have practice or something?"
"I mean, yeah but still. You can sleep when you get back home, babe."
Azalea groaned moving her head off the window. "I was sleeping! You woke me up. That should've been the first sign of me not wanting to leave the comfort of my bed." Azalea complained yet again.
"Let's get it, let's go. Come on." Azzi said patting Azalea's thigh repeatedly, trying to hype her up. But Azalea was a little scary when she was tired or was woken up. She takes sleeping very seriously.
"Let's get it, let's go?" Azalea said looking over at Azzi, giving her a side eye. "What are you are, 12?"
"Mentally."
Azalea sighed heavily, shaking her head at her best friend. "I'm not even gonna say anything.." She muttered.
"Zee, bae, you gotta lighten up. You got your book in case you get bored, your blanket, you're in your pajamas and we're going to have a good time. What more could you ask for?" Azzi said taking Azalea's seatbelt off for her.
"My bed." She deadpanned, not really having it tonight.
"Don't make me call KK and Aubrey to come get your ass and drag you over there to the bleachers." Azzi also deadpanned, raising her eyebrows.
"Alright, alright. You don't need to do all that. Come on." She muttered getting out of the car. She wrapped the fuzzy blanket over her shoulders, grabbing her book and phone and then closed the door.
There weren't many people, but there also is a good amount of people, mostly students for UConn. At least it wasn't so full which was something Azalea was silently thankful for.
