Chapter Thirteen! real life.
Friday came around and Azalea had spent the whole day pretty busy. She had a long class today during the morning and immediately had to get ready for her shift at Barnes and Noble. Which was also going to be a long one since most of the employees decided to not show up for some reason. So, least to say that Azalea had a long day today.
On top of that, Paige hadn't show up during her shift—which had become almost a routine for the both of them. They had both been very busy juggling classes, Paige with practice and Azalea with work. Yet, even though they were busy, they still texted constantly, updating each other on what they were doing or how they were.
Finally, after the sun was down and Barnes and Noble was closing, Azalea's shift was over and she grabbed her bag before leaving the library, walking over to her car. Just as she reached the car door, she received a notification that KK had started going live. She got into her car, setting her bag on the passenger seat and decided to listen to them as background noise as she settled her phone on the holder on her dashboard.
As she drove closer to the campus, she noticed she was passing by Crumbl Cookies. She knew that KK, Paige, Ice and Jana mostly did Crumbl Cookies reviews on the lives, so she thought she'd stop to get them a box of cookies of the week. Azalea didn't really know much about Crumbl Cookies since she never really stopped by or even tried them. But she knew the girls did, so she decided to get them a box of the cookie. She didn't even know what they were called, but she took a picture of the menu so they could figure out which one was which.
Once she got the four cookies, she made it back to car and beginning driving back towards the school campus where the dorms were located. She didn't live at the dorms, having her own apartment near the campus, but she definitely knew her way around the university and where the girl's dorms and common room was.
Getting out of her car she made her way up to the dorm, making sure to not ruin any of the cookies inside the book as she walked. Reaching the door, she slowly opened it, already hearing the loud noises coming from KK's room where Paige, Ice, Kayla, Jana and Ayanna were going live. "Hello, hello, hello!" She called out, closing the door behind her as she went into the small kitchen placing the cookies down.
Aubrey and Azzi, along with the freshmen, Ashlynn and Caroline looked over to the kitchen after hearing the door close. They weren't expecting Azalea, but her presence was definitely never rejected. Aubrey and Azzi immediately got up, going over to Azalea. "Hi, Lea. Why didn't you tell us you were coming?" Aubrey said as she pulled her sister into a hug.
"Thought I'd surprise you guys, I guess." Azalea said softly as she reciprocated the hug, now turning to Azzi.
"Hey Zee. How was your shift?" Azzi asked as she too pulled Azalea into a hug.
