To say that Paige was off her game was an understatement. During the whole time, Paige was not locked in at all. Her shots weren't going in, her passes were slow and sloppy and she overall didn't practice like every practice. During breaks she would zone out and not listen to the coaches as they spoke, their voices sounding far off. Sure everyone once in a while had an off day where they weren't feeling it, and that was valid, but seeing it from Paige definitely caught the rest off guard. Especially since it's been her second practice that she's been practicing like this.

She wasn't doing the plays correctly or setting the correct screens or running the offense in the right ways. Her defense was off as well, letting the other player she was guarding practically walk past her. Geno had already talked to her privately about it, if she was doing okay, yet she brushed it off saying she was fine and that she just wasn't feeling it and that she'd do better.

But every time she was so close to actually getting her shot in, making the corrects calls, the right passes, the thought of Azalea's lips brushing against hers distracted her. It consumed her every thought and she felt so pathetic for it. They didn't even properly kiss—hell, their lips brushed against each other's—and she was already so infatuated with how close they had gotten.

She already knew she was a goner the second she met Azalea but now that she got an idea of how perfect Azalea would feel close to her, she didn't know how much longer she could hold onto that self control.

It had been two days, yet she was still thinking about it. They still obviously texted and called constantly, updating each other on everything. It varied from finishing an assignment, walking to a class, what they ate for the day, what they were doing at the moment. Either way, the two always found an excuse to text or call each other.

As practice ended, the second practice where she was completely out of it, Paige walked over to her bag, a little frustrated with herself. The first practice she could've shrugged off since it was the same day she and Azalea almost kissed, but it had been two days already and she was still acting like a fool.

"Yo, Paige. We're going to a party later tonight, you should come. Maybe get your head out of your ass." She heard Aubrey call out to her as she watched Ayanna and Aubrey walk towards her.

"Yeah, you haven't been to a party in what? Weeks? New record for you." Ayanna said with a smile as she wrapped an arm around Paige's shoulders.

"Oh haha, I'm dying." Paige said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

"Ever since she's met a certain someone she's become a housewife." KK added, skipping over to them having heard the conversation.
