Peter Quill x Reader another short

READER POV:

I went to find Peter to see how he is doing. The Ravagers sold him to us yesterday and now Peter is stuck here. My father Yon-Rogg ordered that we stay in orbit till further notice. Mostly because if we land then the virus might spread to the planet.

"How can there be no treatment for the virus" asked Peter.

"The virus showed up two years ago and no cure has been found" said the machine as Peter was clearly annoyed.

"That your human" my sister asked in kree.

"Ya" I said.

"Well, let me know if you want me to eat him for you. I'm sure his blood is taste" said my sister before leaving.

"That's not why I bought him" I said.

"Well what does work" asked Peter annoyed.

I started to walk over to him.

"No known medicines have been found to work against versehentlicher Kannibalismus" said the machine.

Peter rolled his eyes annoyed.

"Good morning" I said.

"Hey, good morning" said Peter.

"Have you eaten yet" I asked.

"No, I'm starving. And this is the dumbest machine" said Peter.

"Happy to help" said the machine.

"Come on, let's get breakfast" I said.

We left and went to the cafeteria to have breakfast.

"How'd you sleep" I asked.

"Good, although I'm still on pirate time" said Peter.

"They have their own time" I asked.

"I don't know. It's just what I'm calling it because they wake up at 4:30 in the morning" said Peter.

"Good lord, why" I asked.

"No idea. They serve breakfast at five till six though. My guess is Yondu their captain likes to run things like a boot camp" said Peter.

"What if you missed breakfast" I asked.

"Then you won't eat till lunch" said Peter.

"Did you ever miss breakfast" I asked.

"I'm sure I would of if Yondu didn't drag my butt out of bed and dump a bucket of water on me in front of his crew" said Peter.

I'm sure that would be embarrassing enough to make anyone get up early. We made it to the cafeteria where a few families and doctors were having breakfast. I saw a little girl with who I assume to be her sister. The sister looked about 14 while the younger one was only 10.

"Can we see mommy today" asked the little girl.

"We'll see" said the older one.

Which is a nice way of saying no probably. Due to the virus any sick kree are not allowed to see other kree. Except doctors and nurses. However other planets have been lending us their doctors who aren't kree so they can't get the virus. I got my breakfast and saw Peter was sitting at a table by himself. I went to sit with him which surprised him and my family.

"You're a man of simple taste" I said noticing the pancakes and eggs he had for breakfast.

Yes the ship has human food now that we have a human.

"I was only allowed to eat human food with the ravagers. Guess not many aliens know that humans can eat alien food" said Peter.

"What, this whole time" I asked.

"Ya" said Peter.

"Do you want to try something new" I asked.

"No, it's fine, you don't have to" said Peter.

"Just one thing" I said.

"Okay" said Peter.

I got up and got a small bowl of pomme for Peter to try.

"Here you go" I said as I gave him the bowl.

Peter grabbed one and tried a bite of it.

"That's pretty good" said Peter.

"Right" I said.

We continued eating our breakfast.

"Listen so I was thinking there might be another way to get rid of the virus but different medicines" said Peter.

"Tried that, no medications worked. They can weaken the symptoms but the virus is too strong" I said.

"What about other species. Is it possible they can donate blood or something to help fight the virus" asked Peter.

"No tried that two. Did nothing" I said.

"Okay, what haven't the doctors tried" asked Peter.

"They tried everything, for two years. If there is a cure then it's damn near impossible to find" I said.

"So what we just give up" asked Peter.

"Well ya, there is nothing you can do. Unless you want to become a nurse or something" I said.
