Ravager School

PETER POV:

I left earth a month ago and now stay with the Ravagers. It's not horrible I suppose. My bedroom door opened and the light was turned on. I opened my eyes and sat up confused.

"Get up boys. You're starting school today" said Yondu.

"I'm what" I asked confused.

"You're starting school. I believe that's what you call it on Terran" said Yondu.

"Ya but I thought I wasn't going back to Terran" I said.

"Oh we aren't going to Terran. You're taking class on a computer" said Yondu.

I am so confused.

"No go brush your teeth Peter. I know it's online but you still shouldn't be late" said Yondu.

"But my uniform is in the laundry" I said.

"You don't need your uniform. No one cares what you wear to class. You can wear your pajamas if you like" said Yondu.

Yondu got a text on his communicator and started texting up.

"Now get ready, breakfast is in the kitchen" said Yondu.

He put his communicator away and left my room. I got out of bed and got ready for the day. I'm curious how this school will be different. I guess it's good I won't get bullied by other kids. Jimmy would alway steal people's pants when they go to the bathroom. After I was ready I went to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Morning Peter" said Kraglin.

I got in line behind him.

"Morning Kraglin" I said.

"Ready for school" asked Kraglin.

We got a tray and started getting breakfast.

"Ya I guess. I just didn't think aliens have school" I said.

"Well I'm sure it's didn't what your school was like but we still have history and math" said Kraglin.

We got our food and sat down at a table.

"But how is any of that helpful for stealing? I already know how to count" I said as we started eating.

There was a few snickers from some the others at the table.

"There is more to being a Ravager then just stealing. We have doctors and pilots on board. Plus history is important to know so you don't repeat it" said Kraglin.

"Okay, but besides that what is there to learn? I'm not interested in being a doctor" I said.

"Okay, say you are on the planet Eau and you are camping out in the woods but you get cold in the middle of the night" said Henry.

"Easy, I start a fire to stay warm" I said.

The table broke out into some laughs.

"What" I asked.

"Wrong? And now you're dead" said Henry.

"What's wrong with a fire" I asked.

"Eau has too much moisture in the air. You aren't getting a single spark let alone a fire. Plus fires can give your location away especially if there is leaves. Leaves make smoak. Meaning you will either be spotted or frozen" said Henry.

"Okay but that's not enough to prove anything" I said.

"Very well, say you are on La Mort and you ran out of food. What would you do" asked Stacie.

"Hunt a animal or look for fruit or something" I said.

There was more laughs and Kraglin almost had his juice come out threw his nose as he laughed.

"What now" I asked.

"La Mort is a planet where everything is basically poisoning unless you are from there. You're Terran Pete. Which means you'll get sick and die. Hopefully from bad diaherria. That's the least painful way to go" said Stacie.

I guess that's fair.

"Fine, maybe school is important" I said.

I continued with breakfast. After breakfast Kraglin took me to a room where my class was. It was a small storage room with a desk and some windows.

"No one ever comes in here really. So it's quiet and a good place to learn with very little distractions" said Kraglin.
