"WELL IT SEEMS LIKE HE DID" I yelled as we walked.
I wiped tears from my face.
"Johnny has anger issues. Clearly he needs to learn to control them" said Susan.
"That doesn't give him the right to be a jerk" I said.
JOHNNY POV:
"What is wrong with you" asked Ben.
"What" I asked.
"seriously? YOU KNOW DAMN WELL IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT YOU LOST YOUR POWERS. I KNOW YOU ARE UPSET BUT THAT DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO BE RUDE LIKE THAT" Reed yelled.
"Still, why does y/n get to keep their powers" I asked.
"I don't know but if it can happen to you then we should assume it can happen to us" said Reed.
I took some time to clear my head and calm down while Reed ran test. I started to think about what I said and now feel bad. I shouldn't of said those things. I'm just jealous that I lost my powers but the person who is scared of theirs and has the same thing still has theirs. I should apologize. A few hours of test later Susan came back.
"Y/n, is in their room. Still mad at Johnny but they will be okay" said Susan.
We were silent for a minute.
"So what's the word on my idiot brother" asked Susan as she glared at me for a second.
"I'm not sure. Something is blocking his power" said Reed.
"Wait so I still have it" I asked.
"Ya but something has cooled it down. It's almost like it's locked in a box and you don't have a key to open it" said Reed.
"So I can get it back" I asked.
"Well first we have to find out what is causing this blockage but in short. Yes" said Reed.
"How do we do that" I asked.
"I have no idea. You aren't allergic to anything so it's unlikely you ate something or were exposed. So maybe it's some medical condition. I need you to wear a monitor for a few days to see how your health is and if anything triggers it" said Reed.
He attached a water proof monitor to my chest. It's not attractive. At all. It's big and clearly visible. No lady is going to get with this. But it's only temporary. After that I can take it off. So, it's just for a few days. In the mean time I have to go apologize to y/n. I went to their room and knocked on the door.
"Who is it" asked y/n.
YOU POV:
"It's me" said Johnny.
"You come to yell at me again" I asked.
"No, I came to say sorry" said Johnny.
"Well that's a first" I said.
"Ya, can I come in" asked Johnny.
I thought about it. I signed and went to the door. I opened it to peak out but noticed the monitor.
"That's attractive" I snickered.
"Ya, Reed wants me to wear it. Track my heart and stuff" said Johnny.
"So you still have powers" I asked.
"Ya" said Johnny.
"Y/n I'm sorry. I shouldn't of said those things. I was just mad about losing the power and jealous that you didn't" said Johnny.
"Well, at least you are apologizing" I said.
"It's the right thing to do" said Johnny.
"What is that smell" asked Johnny.
I opened my door to let Johnny in my room.
"I kinda burnt my room a little" I said embarrassed.
"Want help cleaning it" asked Johnny.
"Please" I said.
I let him in my room and we got rid of the burnt stuff.
"What's this" asked Johnny picking up a grey shirt.
"Gear shift. It's a candy brand" I said.
"It's not fire proof" said Johnny.
