Tony x Steve part 2

TONY POV: 

I took the breathing mask off and looked around. I'm in a hospital room. I saw a man reading a book. Who is he? I rolled onto my side but was caught on something.

"I'd be careful son" said the man.

I rolled onto my back and saw a car battery on the table. I grabbed a cord and followed it to my chest. What the hell? I pulled the blanket down and looked at my chest. It was covered in gauze and the cord was connected to whatever was glowing under the gauze. I removed the gauze and was shocked. There was a arc reactor attached to my chest. I was shocked. Why the fuck is it there? I think I would prefer they steal my kidneys. I tried to calm down. The man put his book down and walked up to me. He sat on a chair by the bed and grabbed my hand.

"You'll be okay son" said the man.

I question if that is true. I calmed down after my panic attack and managed to sit up. The man claimed he was my father from a past life but he is a alien. His name is Beck. I have so many questions in my mind. I looked at the arc reactor in my chest.

"What is this" I asked.

"It's a type of magnet. It's being powered by the arc reactor but the arc reactor is is being charged with that car battery. Your uncle had to build it in a hurry so it wasn't able to be at full power when the doctors put it in your chest" said Beck.

"What happened" I asked.

"The doctors removed the metal that they could but not all of it was removed. The rest that is left is stuck in your chest. The metal is stuck and can't be removed because it accidently attached to your body. The arc reactor is to keep it from reaching the heart. If it reaches the heart it will attach to it and you'll die with in a week" said Beck.

I guess that would explain why they couldn't remove the metal. I don't understand it all but this hospital looks pretty advanced. So I thought that they would of been able to remove it but with super powers and stuff I guess that changes things. I closed up the shirt and buttoned it. It's some white hospital shirt.

"Thanks" I said.

"You're welcome" said Beck.

A doctor entered. He started speaking some language I don't speak. I'm not even sure what he is saying.

"He says welcome Tony Stark. He's honored to have you here" said Beck.

"I can tell" I said.

The doctor spoke again.

"What language does he speak" I asked.

"Alien, we all speak the same language to keep it simple. Unlike the humans who speak multiple languages" said Beck.

I agree it would be easier if we all speak the same language. I once was told as a child that we all use to speak the same language but then we wanted to rule the world or something and take down God or whatever and then God made us speak different languages. I don't believe that to be true at all but it is interesting to think of where the different languages come from. The doctor started leaving.

"Come on" said Beck.

"Where are we going" I asked.

"For a quick walk" said Beck.

I stood up and grabbed the car battery. I have to carry this thing around for now. We left the room and walked around the hospital.
