Mingyu stormed into Wonwoo's room, his face contorted in frustration as his eyes searched for his housemate.

"Jeon Wonwoo, what gives?" he demanded.

Wonwoo jumped up from his chair, swiftly turning around to face Mingyu, who was angrily advancing toward him.

"What?" Wonwoo asked, his voice laced with confusion.

"Don't 'what'  me!" Mingyu shot back. "I just heard you agreed to be in a subunit with Jeonghan-hyung."

Wonwoo tilted his head slightly, still puzzled as to why Mingyu was so upset.

"Yeah, what about it?" he replied, not quite understanding the issue.

Mingyu's eyes widened in disbelief at Wonwoo's response. He blinked hard, as if trying to send a silent message to the confused man, urging him to grasp the gravity of the situation.

"What about it?? What do you mean 'what about it' ?" Mingyu exclaimed. "Did you forget that you already have a subunit?"

Wonwoo opened his mouth to interject, but Mingyu cut him off, raising his voice.

"Me! I'm your subunit! You're with me, I'm with you. We're supposed to be 'Bitterie' and 'Sweetie.' What on earth made you agree to be with Jeonghan-hyung instead?"

Mingyu huffed, his face turning a deep shade of red as he realized how childish he was sounding.

Wonwoo blinked for a moment, then burst into laughter. Mingyu froze, his anger momentarily dissipating at the sound. But still, he mentally slapped himself, trying to keep his composure and not let Wonwoo's laughing face sway him.

"Goodness, you sound like we're married and I'm cheating on you or something." Wonwoo teased.

Mingyu's face turned even redder, and he crossed his arms stubbornly. "You are  cheating on me, hyung."

Wonwoo rolled his eyes before standing up and placing his hands on Mingyu's shoulders. He gently guided him to the edge of the bed and pushed him down to sit.

Mingyu looked up at him, his nerves easing somewhat from the calming touch of his housemate.

"You, Mingyu..." Wonwoo said with a smirk. "are one nagging princess."

Mingyu pouted, fully aware of how true Wonwoo's words were. "But you chose him over me, hyung... didn't you like us back then?" he mumbled, tracing circles on the covers with his fingers.

Wonwoo sighed and shook his head before sitting down right beside Mingyu. He gave him a light pat on the back.

"Goodness, you're so dramatic." Wonwoo said with a small chuckle. "I agreed to it because I thought me and Jeonghan would make a good switch-up from the usual pairings in our group. You and I, we've already done something together. Won't the fans like something new for a change?" Wonwoo tried to explain, hoping Mingyu would understand.

Mingyu still sulked, unconvinced by the explanation. "Are you saying 'Bitterie and Sweetie' is old news and should just be tossed aside, hyung?" he huffed, turning his back to Wonwoo.

"Don't put words in my mouth, Mingyu. That's not what I meant." Wonwoo replied, his tone firm yet gentle.

Wonwoo grabbed Mingyu's shoulder and turned him to face him, but Mingyu stubbornly kept his head turned to the side, avoiding eye contact. Wonwoo laughed softly and brought his hand to Mingyu's chin, gently forcing him to face him. The two locked eyes.

"As artists, we shouldn't confine ourselves in a box." Wonwoo said seriously. "Working with Jeonghan would give me a different experience, new challenges. It'll help me improve myself in the long run. You should think the same way; challenge yourself more."
