"Please just stop this."

"You have to do better then if you want us to stop."

"I can't do this anymore."

"Like I said...do better."

"You know I can't. I'm too tired."

"Beg me then."

"Please Jeon Wonwoo~"

"I'm not hearing any sincerity from your voice Mingyu."

"Pretty please Wonwoo hyung?"

"You only ever call me hyung at times like this huh?"

"I can't think straight anymore, We've been going at it for hours now."

"Well we wouldn't have to if you just listened to the lectures during class. Now look at you, cramming a semester's worth of lessons in 2 days."

"It's not my fault the professors are boring as hell okay?"

"You can't always blame your laziness and stupidity on other people, grow up already Kim Mingyu."

"Ugghhh why did I even ask you to tutor me in the first place?"

"Cause I'm smart and literally your last means of graduating college at this rate."

"Yeah yeah mister straight A student. But seriously, at least give me a 30 minute break or something, I feel like my head is about to explode."

"Fine. I'll make it even an hour, since you've been listening to me well."

"I mean if the professors were as good as you in teaching, i don't think i would be even struggling this much in the first place."

"I'm literally just repeating what they said in their lectures."

"Then why can't I understand them at all?"

"Beats me. I'll go get us some snacks at the store. Do what you want here."

"Okay okay."

Watching his broad back maneuver around my small apartment was something I found comforting at this point. Seeing his rather stoic face gave me a sense of ease and warmth. We've been friends since senior high school and haven't left each other's side since then. Though we have plenty of differences, we've managed to work along past them and actually grow closer to one another as the years went by.

He's capable in many ways. Although he prefers to keep to himself, he's never awkward in social gatherings and can still make casual conversation with others. He's the type of person who prefers talking to one person at a time, diving deep into the conversation. His habit of staring directly into the other person's eyes while listening, casually humming in response, can easily be misinterpreted as something more than just a polite gesture.

I've seen how the girls around him silently fawn over him after just one conversation, claiming they've made some sort of "connection" and that he's such a great listener. I find it a bit funny, because whenever I ask Wonwoo what they were talking about, he usually just says—

"Her? Huh...I honestly don't remember. I was too sleepy to even listen to anything she was saying."

"Tsk you don't even realize the number of hearts you're breaking right now."

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing."

He's just that type of person really.

Years of being friends turned us to basically like family...so why the hell do I feel like this towards him?
