"Wonwoo?" I looked up to see a classmate of mine staring at me with a rather bewildered face. It's as if she saw me with a missing limb or a broken nose. She then proceeds to scan the room we were in, while I sat there confused as to why she's acting all odd.
"Class prez, what's up? Need anything?" I placed down my phone and gave her my full attention as it seems like she's in quite a predicament from the way she's surveying the room and how her brows were about to touch each other from how furrowed they were.
"That's weird." she finally landed her eyes back to me. Crossing her arms as she shifted her weight to one leg. "You're alone."
I looked at her even more confused and let out an awkward laugh with a hint of panic. "Oh my god...do you see ghosts around me class prez? Am I being haunted? Are you one of those people who's gifted or something?" A sudden chill ran down my spine as I thought of the idea of being clung onto by a ghost.
"Worst." she leaned closer, our faces inches apart, as she whispered her next sentence. "It's Kim Mingyu." she gave me a light slap on the shoulder, stifling a small laugh as she sat down right next to me.
"What are you even talking about?"
"Mingyu isn't here with you right now. You guys are basically attached at the hip. It's weird seeing you alone like this." she whipped out her phone and proceeded to scroll down her feed.
Rolling my eyes as I took a sigh of relief. "Here I thought I was actually being haunted. Why did you have to overreact like that?"
"It's true though. You both are always together. Some of us even think you two are dating." She said it so casually while I sat there, mouth agape.
"What??? No we're not. Wait---do you think we're dating?"
She didn't even bother to look at me. A smile creeped across her face as she continued to play with her phone. "I don't judge. I could care less what you two are to each other. Plus seeing you both together is such an eye candy for me. Makes coming to school a little less boring."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "But seriously though, we're not dating. How can you guys assume that just cause we hang out together?"
"Wonwoo, you may be the top of our class, but you sure are dense as hell." she put her phone away and turned her body towards me. "You think we'd assume just for that reason alone?" her face now taunting me with a somewhat evil smirk.
"What are you saying?"
"Boiiii don't you see the way that big mutt looks at you? He is basically asking to be your pet or something. It's like every time he sees you, honey just starts dripping from those eyes of his. It's honestly both cringey and amusing to watch."
"You're crazy."
"You can ask anyone in this room, even the whole school, heck you can even ask the man himself. Wonwoo, he's obsessed with you." her eyes seemed genuine. She didn't seem like the type to lie either just for the fun of it.
I took a few moments to fully absorb what she just blasted right to my face, when all of a sudden she freezes on her seat. Eyes darting to the door at the front of the room. "I guess I better leave, I feel like he's going to burn a hole in me if I stay here with you any longer."
"What? Who are you talking about?"
"Your boyfriend's here. Gotta go." and just like that she was off.
"Wonwoo~~~" the voice called out to me in such a cheery way. You wouldn't think it came from a 6 feet, tanned, buff teen. I turned towards the direction of the voice calling me.
