The air crackled with tension as Ragnar's booming voice filled the room. "Gnash," he shouted, "turn that damned dog into a frog!"

Gnash's laughter was sharp and mocking. "A frog?" she sneered. "Do I look like some all-powerful witch goddess to you?"

Ragnar didn't back down. "Did you turn a dragon-horse into a frog?" he challenged.

"That was different," Gnash scowled, her beard bristling with anger. "He is a magical creature... and this creature here... is a sentinel... a creature of metal and iron..."

"And what's stopping you from trying?" Shadow-cat, hissed, her claws digging into the floor as she tried to contain the wild dog.

Pooh, consumed by shadows, snarled and lunged at Shadowcat, who narrowly avoided being caught in his jaws. His once ruby red eyes were now blackened with rage.

"Good," Gnash grinned wickedly. "I'll give it a try. But if I can't turn Pooh into a frog, don't blame me..."

"Go faster!" Shadow-cat urged, fear creeping into her voice. "Turn him into a metal frog... use your strongest curses. You're the master of curses..."

Gnash took a deep breath, her hands steadying the wand as she drew upon her deepest reservoirs of magic. "Alright, just hold on tight!" she declared, her voice ringing with newfound confidence.

The shadows twisted around Pooh, and he lunged again, snapping at Shadow-cat as Gnash began to chant.

"By the might of land and night,

I bid thee transformation bright!

Let thy shape by sorcery's thrill—

nay, rise and bend to magic's will!"

Pooh snarled in fury, but as Gnash's incantation flowed through the air, a shimmering light enveloped him. The shadows clinging to the creature recoiled as if in pain, and for a brief moment, Pooh halted his assault—confusion etched across his monstrous face.

Ragnar seized the opportunity. "Now! Strike while you can!" he yelled, brandishing his sword and charging forward alongside Shadow-cat.

"Together!" Shadow-cat echoed, her heart racing as they approached their foe. They struck simultaneously—Ragnar aiming for Pooh's front paws while Shadow-cat targeted the creature's flank.

As their attacks landed, a brilliant flash erupted from Gnash's wand. Light intertwined with shadow, creating an ethereal spectacle as Pooh began to transform. The air shimmered with energy; it was an intense battle of wills—the dark essence fighting against the spell being cast upon it.

"Come on! You can do this!" Ragnar shouted, narrowing his gaze at the chaotic scene.

Gnash poured her energy into the spell while whispering more incantations that spiraled around them like waves crashing against rocks. A powerful gust swept through the clearing, pushing back shadows that attempted to reclaim their hold on Pooh.

Then it happened—a rippling surge of light burst forth with an intensity that illuminated every corner of the clearing. Pooh let out a howl that echoed through the trees before it transformed before their eyes. The ferocious beast was replaced by a small, green frog—a comical little thing with bright eyes bulging in confusion.

They all froze for a split second; Ragnar blinked in disbelief while Shadow-cat let out an exhale of relief mixed with laughter. "You did it!" she cheered as she crouched down to observe the now-innocuous amphibian hopping in place.

Gnash grinned triumphantly, nearly dancing on her feet. "Of course! What did I tell you? A little bit of courage and a lot of magic always work wonders."

But they couldn't celebrate just yet; Nyx and Solaris were still looming nearby. As they watched in astonishment at Pooh's transformation, Nyx's voice boomed with rage.

"What have you done to my guardian!" he screamed, fury igniting within him like wildfire.

"You underestimated our resolve," Ragnar said defiantly as he took a step forward, sword drawn and ready for battle once more.

Solaris snarled in response, raising his staff high above his head as dark energy began swirling around him violently. "You think this is over? We will show you true despair!" Nyx thundered, his voice filled with rage.

The shadows coiled around him like angry serpents as he pointed his staff toward them, eyes glinting with unholy fury. "You may have bested my guardian, but you will not escape my wrath!"

The air grew heavy with dark energy as Nyx began to conjure spells more sinister than ever before. Shadows thickened around him, swirling dangerously like a storm about to unleash its fury.

"Stay focused!" Shadow-cat yelled to her companions. "We need to disrupt his magic before he can summon anything worse!"

Ragnar nodded determinedly and readied his sword again. "We'll face him together!"

As they regrouped around the transformed Pooh, now an innocent frog croaking helplessly at his new form, they prepared for battle once more—hearts pounding with adrenaline coursing through their veins.

With deft movements, Gnash conjured pulses of light from her wand while Ragnar charged forward alongside Shadow-cat to engage Nyx directly. The necromancer laughed darkly as he unleashed tendrils of shadow aimed at them—a carnivorous mist hungry for their fear!

In a split-second decision, Shadow-cat leaped up onto Nyx's shoulders in an agile roll while Ragnar swung his sword at the nearest shadowy tendril that threatened to ensnare them.

"That won't work!" Nyx bellowed angrily while trying to shake off Shadow-cat. "You can't defeat me!"

With her shadowy fur bristling and claws unsheathed, Shadow-cat lunged at the altar with a ferocious strike, aiming directly for the Eye of Night resting on the stone. A thick black mist swirled around her in a menacing aura.

Nyx's voice trembled as she pleaded, "No... nooo..."

The fate of the Eye of Night hung in the balance. Time seemed to slow down as Solaris and Nex stood frozen in fear, while Shadow-cat, Ragnar, Gnash, and the princess radiated with triumphant joy...

...until an unexpected turn of events shattered their moment of victory.
