~Y/N's POV~

You lie on the bed, staring up at the cracked ceiling, your mind drifting. The stillness of the room is interrupted when your phone rings. You glance at the screen and see it's Kookie. You sit up and swipe to answer.

"Hello again," You greet him.

"I just wanted to check on you... are you okay?" Jungkook's voice is laced with concern, despite the calm tone he's trying to maintain.

"I'm fine, Kookie. Please don't worry about me," you respond softly.

"I can't help it," he admits with a sigh.

You smile faintly. "I know. I'm glad you called, honestly. I wanted someone to talk to."

"I'm always here, you know that."

There's a long pause before Jungkook continues, his voice lightening. "Hey, why don't you go visit Diablo? Larry and Garth are missing us... they keep asking when I'm coming back, and if you've forgotten about them."

A laugh slips from you at the thought of the duo. "I probably should visit them. It's been a while, might help keep me distracted too."

"That's the spirit. Besides, it'll give me a break from them bugging me!" Jungkook adds with a teasing tone, and you can almost hear the grin in his voice.

"Alright, alright. I'll go. You need to get some sleep, though. It's late over there."

"I will... g'night," he replies softly, but there's a hint of something more in his voice, something you can't quite place.

"Goodnight, Kookie."

You end the call, standing up and quickly changing into something comfortable. The cool night air greets you as you step outside, the brisk wind biting at your skin.

You breathe it in, hoping it'll clear your head.

You make your way into town, your footsteps echoing down the narrow alleys, until you reach the familiar hard metal door. You knock the specific pattern, the sound sharp and deliberate.

"Cielo o infierno?" a gruff voice calls out from the other side.

"Hielo infierno!" you reply, the words flowing easily despite the tension in your chest.

The door creaks open almost instantly, and there, standing before you, is Larry. His face lights up when he sees you.

"Y/N! Oh my word, it's really you!" he exclaims, his excitement overwhelming as he pulls you into a tight, almost suffocating hug. "I thought you had forgotten about us old geezers!"

You laugh, trying to breathe through the embrace. "I could never forget about you guys."

Larry releases you just enough to give you a big, goofy grin. "Garth! Get your lazy ass over here! Y/N is finally here!" he shouts, turning back to the entrance and shutting the door behind you.

Garth appears quickly, a grin spreading across his face as soon as he spots you. "Y/N!" he greets warmly.

"Hi, Garth!" you return the smile, feeling a surge of comfort in the familiar presence of both of them.

"We were just closing up. What took you so long to visit us, huh?" Garth teases, motioning for you to follow him to one of the booths. You slide into the seat, letting out a contented sigh as you relax.

"Ah, life's just been... busy, you know? A lot's happened." You shrug, trying to downplay the weight of everything.

"Well, you know, all your worries vanish at Diablo!" Larry chimes in, his face lighting up with that characteristic warmth.

You smile at his infectious enthusiasm. "Yes, exactly why I'm here. Got any new specials?"

"Of course!" Larry says with a wink. "I'll have Garth whip something up for you."

Garth grins, already heading to the bar. "You got it."

Larry takes a seat across from you, his eyes softening as he studies you. "So... how've you been holding up without Jungkook?"

You lean back in your seat, a small sigh escaping your lips as the weight of his absence settles in again. "I won't lie, I miss him a lot... but he's out there chasing his dream. I know he'll be back soon."

Larry nods, his expression thoughtful. "Yes, that's true. My, you've really matured, haven't you?" His laugh is warm, almost nostalgic.

"Oh, shut up!" you tease, your lips curving into a playful smile.

Larry chuckles. "I remember when you two would come here together, causing all kinds of mischief. You'd try to sneak drinks when you were only fifteen."

A laugh slips from you as you recall those old memories. "Of course I remember! Those were the days..." you say, shaking your head at how reckless and carefree you both were back then. "Seems like a lifetime ago."

Garth returns moments later, a tall glass in hand. He slides it across the table toward you, the deep amber liquid catching the light. "One of our best." He says with a grin

You take the glass, giving it a grateful swirl before taking a sip. The warmth of the drink settles in, a welcome comfort. "Oh I like this one," you smile.

Larry leans in, lowering his voice slightly. "So, tell me more. How's everything been, really? You've been keeping it all together?"

You pause, the words swirling in your mind, but you're reluctant to give too much away. With a soft chuckle, you meet Larry's gaze. "Ah you know me.. Taking each day as it comes." You lean back in the booth, more relaxed now, the weight of your day melting away in their company. "I've been okay. It's just been hard without Jungkook around, but... I guess I'll figure it out."

Garth nods knowingly, setting his own drink down beside you. "You've got a good head on your shoulders, Y/N. We all know you'll be fine."

~Yoongi's POV~

I burst through the motel door, gasping for breath, and make my way to the front desk. My voice shakes with urgency as I speak to the desk clerk.

"Excuse me, is there a Seo Y/N staying here?"

She looks me up and down, then pauses before responding. "May I ask what your relationship with her is?"

My patience is running thin. I step closer, forcing the words out through clenched teeth. "What does that matter? Just give me her room number."

She raises an eyebrow, clearly unamused. "I can't just hand out room numbers to anyone."

Frustration claws at me, but I manage to take a breath, trying to calm my raging pulse. "Look... she's important to me. Please, I need to see her."

The woman studies me for a beat longer, her gaze softening just enough. "Room 023," she says, sighing.

"Thanks," I mutter, already turning on my heel and rushing down the hallway, each step faster than the last. I find the door, my heart hammering in my chest.

I knock loudly.

No answer.

I knock again, this time harder, my impatience rising with each passing second. There's no way she didn't hear that.

"Y/N!?" I shout, voice tight with worry.

Still, nothing.

Frustration boils over, and I pound my fist against the door, the wood splintering under the force. A jolt of pain shoots through my knuckles as blood begins to drip from my hand, staining the door.

I press my ear to the wood, straining to hear even the faintest sound, but there's nothing. It's too quiet.

My stomach drops. She's not here.

"Where the hell are you, Y/N?"
