Chapter 29 - En route to Cavonia

Three horsemen rode quickly through the night. One had dark hair and pale skin. But he smiled as he thought of meeting his lover. The other two rode ahead protecting him. They arrived at Zoroastria before dawn and another horseman greeted them warmly. They rode on.

At Zoroastria the hostel where they had stayed before, reserved four single rooms for them. They would visit their lovers' rooms in the quiet of night.

After a day of rest they rode on over the border to Cavonia. They were stopped at the end of the forest when they were entering Cavonia.

"Who goes there?" boomed a soldier's voice in the Cavonian language.
The elder of the four answered in that language. "We are travelling to Zargreb estate, which is my land," he said.
"Ah yes, you're Bonnar Oberon," he replied.
" Yes that's me. These are my cousin and his two companions, all horsemen."
"Pass through and safe journey," said the soldier, and they rode on.

While it was still daylight they arrived at Zargreb estate. The four were welcomed and made their way to the stables with the horses, handing them over to the stable hands to feed and look after them.
The four then went indoors and found two rooms beside each other, on the top floor. No one had permission to go up to that floor so they had their privacy.

Bonnar peeked his head around the door and a sleepy Fillun stretched and yawned.
"Hello sunshine," said Bonnar.
"What part of the day is it?" asked Fillun.
"I've already been out to check the horses and collected rents. It's lunch time," said Bonnar. "Time to get up," he smiled.

Each couple took full advantage of the privacy afforded them by a floor which no one else would visit. They could hear the other couple making noises and the joy of full connection as each released his seed.
Each morning they would bathe to clean themselves and then go out spending the day on their horses, talking about their knights' training. Bonnar would fill them in on the things he had done when he received training at the Knights' Temple some years before.

The time at Zargreb estate went quickly and soon it was time to go back. Bonnar accompanied them once more over the border into Velastria and the three made their way back quickly to the Knights' Temple. Soon they forgot about their journey and got busy finishing off their training.
