The road to Zoraastria was one that different members of the royal family had taken for generations. As the last town in the country before the border with Cavonia, the royal family had a special place in their heart for this town, where they felt very much at home.

Fillun's aunt had spent time here as a child, and was very attached to the town. Knowing that this was where his grandmother would have met him, she felt that it was even more appropriate to meet him here.

She traveled with four guards, masked with a cloak and cap, as if she were another horseman. She told her family that she wanted to go away for a few days to be at peace at the death of her mother. She didn't want to alarm her husband, who she taught might want to tell the Cavonian soldiers.

Travelling ahead of her party, were Fillun and company. They reached the town on the morning of the second day, and booked in to the hostel, where they had stayed before.

The hostel owner, as always, was very happy to receive the visitors. Although he did not know that Fillun was part of the royal family, he did know that the was something special about him, hoping beyond belief that this was their new king.

In the afternoon of that same day, Fillun's aunt and her four Horsemen arrived in the town. They waited for dark of evening to come, and then went to the hostel, so as to have less chance of being seen.

Fillun's aunt, being the soul of discretion, knew to ask the hostel owner whether the other party had arrived. He confirmed that they were already having dinner in a private dining room downstairs.
She ordered dinner for her four companions, once they would come in from tending to the horses. Then she asked the hostel owner to arrange for an additional place at the meal with Fillun and company.

When the hostel owner opened the door, and introduced horseman, or what it looked like one, they were a little surprised. However the horseman removed their cloak and head dress, and the elegance of Fillun's aunt was on display.

Fillun jumped up and ran to her and hugged her for some minutes. After they had shown their joy at reconciliation, Fillun introduced her to Bonnar, who she had known from of old; and to Ross and Tarn, whom she recognized as being the people who had delivered the message in the palace.

Fillun's aunt sat down and joined them for dinner and they had pleasant conversation l, but with going without going into details about what their plans were.

Ross and Tarn left the room and went up early, and left the three to speak. Bonnar was going to leave the room. However, Fillun explained that as an important advisor, and as the person who had protected Fillun's security for all these years, he should stay in the room. He did not believe that it was appropriate at this time to tell his aunt about the relationship, but as a perceptive person, she had understood this already.

"It's been great to catch up with you," she said , "blackbird", smiling at her nephew.
"Yes, magpie," smiled Fillun, "it's been great, and I am glad we get to fly together once more".

"Do you want to retrieve your rightful position as head of the crown, and head of your country?" Fillun's aunt looked at him seriously, studying his expression to see what sort of response he would give.
"Yes," said Fillun, "that is what I want. It is my heart's desire, and I hope you will support me in this".

His aunt took his hands in hers, with tears in her eyes. She looked at him, smiling, and said "If that is your heart's desire, then it is mine. My heart has been so sore for the loss of your parents, but to reunite with you today is something that will make me happy for many years to come. I will support you in whatever way I can, but this needs to be done very carefully".

Fillun smiled at her broadly, and looked into her eyes, drinking in the warmth and affection he had lacked for so long, and which he had missed with his grandmother's passing.
