Chapter 45 (Thank You, Yumi)

While everyone else got to go home today, I was still stuck in the hospital for another day along with Togata. Izuku came to visit me before he left though.

"I'm sorry you'll still be stuck here."

"I know right! This suuuucks! And this cast isn't making things better." I complained.

Izuku chuckled.

"Oh! I visited Togata too. He seems to be back to his old self now." Izuku said.

"Really? I'm surprised. He was just bawling his eyes out 20 minutes ago...But...I don't blame him..." I trailed off softly. I was still a little shaken up from seeing Nighteye's body.

"Are you okay?" Izuku asked.

"Course I am! Why do you ask?" I asked bluntly.

"Oh, it was nothing. I've gotta go now. I'll see you tomorrow!" Izuku said while walking out the door. "Feel better soon, Yumi!"

And then, Izuku left.

Third POV

Class A had seen the news and knew what happened to everyone. When they got back to the dorms, class A showered them with love. Bakugo sat in the background, wondering where his girlfriend was. Sure, he was worried about everyone else, but Yumi was really important to him.

After a while, when she didn't walk in, Bakugo stood up aggressively and ran over the Izuku angrily and grabbed his collar.

"WHERE IS SHE!? WHERE'S YUMI?" he yelled.

"Kacchan!...She's still in the hospital." Izuku answered.

Bakugo gasped.

'Still in the hospital?' he thought nervously.

Bakugo let go of his collar and stepped back from him. Everyone was looking at him with worry. They knew how much he cared for Yumi. It was no secret.

"She's okay though, right?" he asked, slightly less angry.

"Yeah. She's not in critical condition. The doctors said she'll be able to come back tomorrow." Izuku said.

Everyone sighed in relief as they were also worried about her. Bakugo mentally sighed too, but externally growled and walked off to his room.

Later that night, after everyone had settled down and went to bed, Izuku sent out a text in the groupchat he made of him, Tsu, Uraraka, Kirishima, and Bakugo.

Izuku: Are you guys still awake?

Uraraka: Yeah...

Asui: Yes.

Kirishima: Yeah. I couldn't sleep.

Kacchan: Why are you texting me this late at night, Deku!? Even if we weren't sleeping, you could've been waking us up!

Izuku: That's why I asked first. Anyway, I couldn't sleep either and I got to thinking about the raid.

Uraraka: I was too! Yumi helped us out so much during that time.

Kirishima: I know, right! I don't think I could've made it through without her.

Asui: I agree.

Izuku: That's what I was thinking about too. Everyone knows how hurt she was emotionally, but she totally helped us out by trying to cheer us up. I wanted to do something in return. Even if it's something small.
