Chapter 42 (This Is It)

Last night, Kacchan and I argued, and we haven't talked since then. We went the whole day at school not talking. It made me sad. We had just gotten together and now we're not talking anymore, and it's all my fault.

That night, I could barely sleep. I kept thinking about everything that was going on. Eri, Chisaki, Kacchan, Izuku and Togata.

Just then, I got a call from the agency. They found them! They found Chisaki and Eri! I picked up my phone and rushed downstairs to meet my classmates. Uraraka, Tsu, Izuku, and Kirishima were all there with their phones too.

"You guys too?" Kirishima asked.

We all nodded.

"We got it." Tsu said.

"This is it." I said.

"It's happening." Izuku said.

We were in Nighteye's office listening to him explain how he found Eri.

"You ended up using foresight anyway!?" Rock Lock said.

"If you recall, I said I'd use it when our path was more clear." Nighteye said.

"Whatever. This means we have the date we need, right?" Fat Gum asked.

"Yes. And we know for sure when we'll be there thanks to our stakeouts." Centipeder said.

"Mmm-hmm! We also worked with the police and already got a search warrant to search the place! Next step-"

"Is to barge in there!" Fat Gum finished Bubble Girl's sentence.

"That's my line!" she whined.

"Hey, Deku, Yumi." We heard Uraraka call our names and we turned to her. Her, Kirishima, and Tsu were giving us looks that clearly said 'we've got this'. Izuku and I gave them the same look back.

"Come on, Midoriya, Takayumi..." Togata said. He took a deep breath in and started yelling. "We're all over this! Let's rescue that girl! Take down some bad guys! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! YEAH!!! Aw, yeah!"

Me and Izuku were taken aback, but we both smiled.

'Seems like he's back to normal.' I thought.

We suited up and headed to the headquarters of the Hassaikai.

At 8:00 am, the head policeman stood in front of our group. He explained to us the plan, and gave us all information on some of the Hassaikai members and their quirks.

It was 8:30 am. We stood outside of the Hassaikai's headquarters and the head policeman was standing in front of the front door.

"Once they read the warrant, then you can go inside." the policeman said.

"What's with this guy? Acting like we don't know how to do our jobs." Rock Lock said.

I side-eyed him. I still wasn't too fond of this guy. In fact, I don't like him at all. He keeps looking down on everyone and he's not even in the top ten heroes.

"You know that's not what he meant, Rock Lock. Give it rest." Fat Gum said.

Rock Lock just scoffed. "The real problem is, these Yakuza thugs are good at living in the shadows. If they see a bunch of heroes at their front door, they might just hide away."

The policeman was about to ring the doorbell but before he could, a giant man with a bird's mask on, just like Chisaki did, smashed right through the front door. Everyone was shocked.
