Aunt Rosie

So sorry for the long wait!!
Been training a new guy and been so busy with stuff I haven't had time or the motivation to get on and write

The night of the hotel was a rather peaceful one, Charlie and Vaggie had made up and there was some fun in the bed after Victoria had fallen asleep, definitely helped smooth things over after what all had happened. Al and luci was sleeping soundly in their room with the kids, they both had talked about what all had went on during the day and how they managed to help the girls out before getting some sleep themselves. They was woken up by a crash and a bang and sat up in bed with a bit of a startle, they gave each other a quick look before getting out of bed and moving to the adjoined room where the kids where. Only to be surprised as they was crawling around in the floor instead of being in their cribs.
"Wha. How did you get out?" Alastor asked as he leaned down to pick them up and carried them back to the cradles, now curious as to how they managed to get out of it in the first place.
"I...found the source of the noise" Lucifer said a little cautiously as Alastor looked over and stared at it for a moment. In the floor laid one of his prized radios from his collection, shattered on the floor. It appears that the kids had not only found a way out of the crib, but the same way they did so had knocked his radio off of the shelf it resided on.
He let out a soft sigh as he kneeled down into the floor and look at the radio, it took him many years to find this exact model, the outer shell of it was cracked and broken into a few pieces, the internals seemed to have faired a little better but he'd need to actually sit down and look at it to see if he could salvage it.
"Sorry love, I know how much these radios mean to you" Lucifer said now as he put a hand on Al's shoulder who stood up now.
"They do, but not as much as my family means to me" As much as he wanted to he couldn't be mad at his kids, it was just a accident and in the End, they was just kids. Being nosey and curios is part of growing up and he loved them more then anything, even his prized radio collections that he had.
"Why not taking a trip to go and see Rosie?" Lucifer suggested seeing if it could help cheer him up some, which seemed to help as Al thought about it
"I still need to introduce her to the little ones" he thought with a bit of a smile now.
"Lets get back to bed, and after breakfast we will get ready to head over to her place for a little" Lucifer offered now since it was only 1am at the moment, making sure the kids were back in the crib, the couple moved back to bed now to try and get some rest before there scheduled time.
Later in the morning the couple was found walking down the sidewalk, Lucifer had a hand holding onto Alastors arm while Al was pushing the stroller with the kids. They was making their way to Rosie's shop to finally make the long overdue introductions.
"I have a question for you" luci asked out of the blue and interrupting the quiet tranquility they was experiencing, which was quite rare in Hell come to think of it.
"Whats that love?" Al asked with a bit of a hum as he turned and looked over at him now.
"Well, I was just thinking, why did you stop doing your radio broadcast?" He asked now, Al was about to reply but stopped as he thought about it. It has been a while since he had been on the air, but he has been rather busy, The last broadcast he had made was with Valentinos screams filling the air waves.
"I....well that's a good question babe" he said after a moment.
"I mean things have changed for me...I have a husband..a Family, things I had never dreamed of actually happening, and to be honest I've been so caught up trying to be a father and husband that I haven't even thought of it" he said as they continued to walk.
"Well do you think you would continue to do them again or have you put that life behind you?" Lucifer asked now.
"You know I'm..not really sure on that answer right now" he said after taking a moment to think.
"I mean I have a family now and quite frankly I'm not sure if that's who I am anymore"
"Well that is true, having a family does change you, it changed my life for the better" Lucifer said with a smile as he thought back to how much his life had changed when he found out he was gonna be a father before he continued to talk.
"But you know there's nothing saying that you have to continue your broadcast like that, you can broadcast something different now" he said as Alastor looked back over at him now a bit intrigued.
"What do you mean by that"
"Well what about something like, a discussion radio or news or...or..a Podcast perhaps?" Lucifer said as he listed off a few possible ideas that could work, they wouldn't involve violence if that's the way Al wanted to go with it now. Lucifer wouldn't mind if he did go back to his old broadcast style though, he knew what Al did when he first arrived in hell, he knew that Al had stayed behind when he had confronted Valentino, so whatever Al decided he'd wanna do, he was gonna support his decision. Even if the decision would be to stop the broadcast all together.
"A podcast you say, I think I have heard of them, perhaps that could be something for the future" Al said as he thought about it some, it was a nice idea that would let him get back on the air, the only thing is though he wasn't sure about what he would even talk about, or really what a podcast was specifically. He had heard brief conversations about them but other then that nothing, but it was something he intended to look into now.
Rosie's shop was busy today, there was hustle and bustle all around in the store and she was doing her usual routine with a smile, there was no place that she liked being more then behind the register, among all the chaos in the store she actually found it relaxing and joyful.
"There you go love. Remind that husband of yours to get in line or I'll handle him for you!" She said cheerfully as the customer grabbed her things and left the store. Looking up at the door as she heard the bell chime her smile instantly grew bigger.
"By the ancients do my eyes deceive me!" She called out as she got out from behind the counter and made her way over, pushing through the crowd of people she squealed out a little as she brought her hands up to her mouth.
"Oh they are adorable!!" She said as she looked at the 3 little kids in the stroller.
"Why don't we move to my office, last thing we need is someone to mistake them for fresh meat" she said as if it was a normal thing, which to be fair for the cannibals it was. Lucifer however did not find it very amusing but held his tounge for now, he knew they was different in this town. Following Rosie through the shop they entered her office in the back where she got down on her knees to get a closer look at the kids.
"Oh they are such cuties! What are their names?" Rosie asked rather excitedly.
"Conrad is on the left, Austin is in the middle, and the girl you are playing with is Rosie" Lucifer said with a smile as she looked up at them now.
"Named after a very dear friend of mine" Al said with a bit of a smile as Rosie got up from the floor and moved to hug him now.
"You didn't have to do that Al!" She said a bit emotionally now, she didn't have kids of her own besides the way she saw Al as one, so for her this was a big deal.
"You've been there for me since the beginning Rosie, supported me and guided me, and most times I see you as my best of friend but at times, I do see you more like a mother" he said sincerely as he returned the hug.
"But we did have one favor to ask of you" Lucifer said chiming in now as Rosie let go of Al and looked over at him.
"Me and Al where talking about it, your not part of the morningstar Family by blood or marriage, but we deemed you worthy of being the Godmother of the kids, A Aunt to them, if you'd want to that is" he said with a smile as she looked back over at Al again.
"I..I dont know what to...Thank you both" she said as she pulled them both in for a hug now.
"You've made this old lady's day the best she's had in a while" she said with a emotional tone, it was something she had wanted for a long time, they wasn't her kids but it was close to it and she wouldn't want it any other way right now.
"Can I hold them?" She asked after the hug had ended. Alastor nodded as he moved and undid the buckles and pulled the kids out while Lucifer asked if she could sit on the couch. He watched as Al handed the kids to her one at a time and swore that her smile was growing with each kid she was holding on too. Rosie was having a amazing time herself as she held them, it was like dreams come true for her, kids had never worked out for her much to her disappointed.
"I never thought I'd get something like this" she said happily as Alastor sat down beside her and lucifer on the other side.
"So as the Aunt, you'd get to hang out with them, and hopefully we can call you to help watch them if we need it" Lucifer said as he started to list off some things, Rosie nodded and listened to everything as she was playing with the kids
"That sounds wonderful" she said with a smile.
"Could we get a picture?" She asked now which lucifer thought was a great idea as he pulled out his phone, using some magic it hovered in the air while Alastors shadow appeared behind him, looking through he motioned Lucifer to scoochy a little closer, and to angle the phone a little before giving a thumbs up approval, the camera flashed as the picture was taken, he smiled as he looked at it before snapping his fingers making a printed copy appear in his hands before he handed it to Rosie.
"One beautiful picture for the Aunt" he said with a smile as she looked at it and smiled.
"Just set it on the table if you wouldn't mind, got my hands full here" she said as she motioned towards the kids.
They stayed there for most of the afternoon, hanging out with Rosie and letting her enjoy being a new Auntie, Al had to admit he doesn't recall ever seeing her this happy as he watched her play with them, in a way it made him feel like this is probably what the others saw him like back at the hotel. Dark and mysterious and now he was happy and enjoying life in ways he never thought possible. They ended their afternoon with a goodbye to Rosie before making their way back to the hotel.
It was around dinner time so they all sat down to eat while feeding the kids, discussing their days or whatever popped up before getting ready for the night. Alastor was in the room changing into his night clothes before he felt a hand push on his chest and sending him down to the bed, pulling the shirt down over his head to see he saw lucifer standing with a hand on his hip.
"What are you doing luci, where are the kids?" He asked a little hopeful that it was for the reason he thought.
"The kids are hanging with their sisters, Me on the other hand" he said as he got down on the bed and crawled over the top of Al, holding himself up above him
"Have unfinished business from that shower the other morning" he said as he leaned down and kissed Al.
"But...im in charge this time, you are the bottom baby" he said with a smirk as Alastor bit his lip a bit, this was going to be new experience.
