Hope you enjoy this chapter!
Sorry for the wait again. Trying to pick up the pace on posting these and not keep everyone waiting so long.

Sitting there in his chair he didn't know how to react from this, it sounded sincere but was it just a plot to get to her grandkids, He wasn't sure but one thing he knew was that there was hope, and he was going to take it.
"W..what did you just say?" He asked, making sure he actually heard her right.
"Im sorry" she repeated for him, Al didn't know what to do at the moment, he didn't know if he should still be mad at her or if he should just forgive her, yes he was mad at her for what she had said and acted like but in the end she was still his mother and even if he was mad at her, he still loved her dearly..even if she didn't return the feelings.
"Sorry for what" he asked now now trying to maintain his composer.
"For the way that I acted dear...its not something that I was proud of and after you left I had time to think about it all and realize the mistakes that I had made" she said as bit softly through the phone as Alastor sat there and listened to her.
"I still don't understand why...but it's clear to me that you are happy, and in the end that's all a mother wants is for her son to be happy" she said before waiting for Alastor to say something.
"I know..I probably wouldn't forgive me either" she said as bit saddened by his lack of response.
"If you choose not to, I won't hold it against you, I deserve every bit of a cold shoulders how how I acted and what I said about your family that day" she stopped as she sat there and listened for any response on the other end of the line. Alastors voice was firm but calm as he replied back to his mother.
"How could you say those things about my family? Did you ever stop to think about how your words would affect us?" He asked her with a hurt tone, he wasn't ready to forgive her just yet. His mother took a breath before responding, She knew she deserved it all, but it still did hurt.
"I was wrong Alastor. I was so caught up in my own biases and fears that I didn't think about the harm I was causing. I'm truly sorry for that."
Alastor's anger rose a little bit as his calm demeanor was leaving while listening to his mother explain herself.
"Sorry?! Your Sorry! Sorry isn't enough! You hurt us, Mother. You hurt me deeply." He said as he let her have it, All the emotions he's been dealing with, and just when he thought he was done with this, here she was digging it all right back up.
"I looked up to, you was everything to me!" He said as he let it out.
"The lady I met up there was not my mother. That was a monster compared to what use to love me" he said in a harsh tone towards her.
His mother listened to what he had to say, tears slowly making their way down her face.
"I know, Alastor. And I don't expect you to forgive me overnight. But I want you to know that I'm trying to making things right between us. I love you, and I love your family."
Alastor's expression softened slightly, but he was still wary as he weighed his options here. He could tell her to get lost and never wants to see her again, but at the same time he was still holding onto some hope that the mom he remembered would emerse and show herself once more.
"I need time to think, Mom. I need time to process everything." He finally said after a moment. His mother nodded again on the other end of the phone.
"I understand, Alastor. Take all the time you need. I'll be here, waiting for you, when you're ready to talk." She said before the phone call ended and he sat the phone down on the counter. He wasn't sure what to do at the moment, he didn't want to bother Lucifer as he figured he was probably in his meeting by this point in the day, he pulled out his phone and sent a text. It took a few moments before the door opened to his radio room and Vaggies head popped in.
"You need something dad?" She asked while he sat there.
"Just need to talk to you is all" he said as she walked in and closed the door.
"Whats wrong?" She asked, hearing the difference in his tone. Alastor motioned to a chair beside before he explained what all had went on, his concerns about this but also the hopeful feelings he had. Vaggie sat there and listened to him as he laid out all his cards on the table.
"Well...what do you want to do dad?" She asked him as she put a hand on his shoulder.
"I...I dont know sweetie, what she said up there hurt me a lot. I never knew she felt that way, but at the same time...I mean she's still my mother, and no matter what I do it's never going to change. The memories I have of her I will always cherish" he said as he was watching his kids playing on the floor, he realized that he couldn't hold onto his anger forever. He needed to forgive his mother, not for her sake, but to give her a chance to be the women he remembered her as, He wanted her to be apart of the kids life and everything, and he wanted her to be apart of his life yet again.
"It seems to me that you already know what you want to do then" Vaggie said with a soft smile as she looked back at him.
Making his decision after nearly an hour of talking with Vaggie. He took a deep breath as he picked up his phone, and dialed his mother's number.
"Mom?" he said with his usual calm tone to hide his feelings.
"Alastor..have..you came to a decision?" his mother asked, her voice had a hopeful tone with it.
"I forgive you, Mom," Alastor said, the words feeling like a weight lifting off his shoulders.
"I forgive you, and I want us to move forward."
His mother sobbed on the other end of the line, and Alastor smiled some, hearing hear happiness.
"But...no more acting like you was before mom, things are not perfect between us but I am choosing to forgive you and try and put this behind us" he said as his mom listened.
"Yes..understood dear" she said happily.
"And..Thank you for this" she said before the call ended shortly after. He sat the phone back down on his lap and released a breath before patting Vaggies leg.
"Thanks dear, for listening"
"My pleasure dad, you've done the same for me" she said with a smile before getting up and leaving the room now.
Al had been trying to think of a topic to use on the podcast which was actually a lot harder then he thought it was going to be, but after the call with his mom and talking to Vaggie about it all, he knew just what he wanted it to be about. He spun around to his office and sat down at his control panel and flipped a switch for his radio tower as it buzzed to life with the newest broadcast.
"Today...I wanna talk about Forgiveness"
