Big battle (END)

Here we go...sorry for such a long wait. Ive been struggling so bad on this chapter and how to wrap everything together. But at last it is done!
Sorry if it's not the greatest of chapters.

Lucifer opted to spend the night with his brother up in heaven, figuring it would be great to hang out with him some more.
"Thanks for inviting me Michael...is was great to hang out..and finally becoming brothers again" Lucifer said as he looked up at him with a smile which Michael returned.
"It was good to finally admit it all and get it off my chest" he said as he put a hand on Lucifers shoulders.
"We need to do this more often brother" he said with a chuckle.
"Pick a date and call me. But I gotta get back down to hell for now, later bro" Lucifer said before giving Michael a hug which was returned before he left and made his way back down to hell.
Walking back in he was looking around before smiling and making his way over to Alastor and the kids.
"There you are my dear!" He said as he smiled and got up with Rosie, moving over and hugging Lucifer eith a kiss on the top of his head.
"Sorry babe...I ment to text but forgot about it" he said as he grabbed Rosie from Al's arm.
"Its alright, I figured things went well when you didnt come back home last night. So just let you do your thing up there" He said with a smile as he looked down at Rosie in Lucifers arms.
"So..where's everyone else at?" He asked as he looked around the lobby and didnt see anyone else.
"Well we all had a rather late night. Angel found some board game out in the town last night and we all took turns playing it...stayed up way later then we probably should have" he said with a bit of a chuckle.
"What was the game?"
"I...think it was trouble?" Alastor said as he tried to think of the name. The rest of the staff slowly wondered down into the lobby as the morning progressed, finding the 2 kings of hell on the floor playing with the kids.
"Hey dad, how'd it go with Michael?" Charlie asked as she came over and sat Victoria down on the ground with the other kids so they could all play together.
"It went great sweetie...A lot of things were said that should've been said a long time ago, and im glad that we finally did it." He said with a smile as he watched Victoria join in the fun of playing with blocks and toys.
"Anyone got any big plans for the day?" Lucifer asked before there with a loud bang and clouds of dust filling the lobby. Looking over they saw none other then her.
"Lucifer darling. Im homeee" came lilith's voice as she walked through the dust and rubble.
"What are you doing here" he asked as he stood up quickly and looked at her.
"Well..thanks to your little antics, ive been kicked out of heaven until I resolve my problems...so killing you should do that rather nicely" she said with a innocent little smile as if she was just talking about a grocery shopping list, not killing the devil himself.
"Get the kids out of here love" Lucifer said as he out himself between her and his family, not wanting to let her use them as some pawn to make him give up, or worst of all hurt one of them.
"Now now Lucifer...why the rush to get them out" she taunted as she looked past him and at everyone else, only for him to move into her view again.
"You leave my family out of this" he said before her face turned to more of a scowl as she looked at him.
"I am going to make you pay, and wish that you was a better man before" she said before she lunged at Lucifer with a yell. He was quickly to dodge it and grabbed her arm hiding it behind her back and pinning her down on the floor.
"Get everyone out of here!" He shouted as they all took off towards the doors of the lobby, getting outside before Alastor handed the kids to Vaggie and Angel.
"Get them to Rosie, and dont let anything stop you, and dont even think of leaving unless I come and get you" Alastor said firmly as he looked at them and down at his kids, giving them a kiss on the forehead.
"What about you!" Vaggie asked as she held Conrad.
"Im going back to help Lucifer" He said as Vaggie looked at him and he saw the worried look, he reached down and laid a hand in her cheek and the other on her shoulder.
"Im not leaving you sweetheart, A father's duty is never done, but I need to you protect your siblings" he said as she nodded at him before he gave her a kiss on the head as well.
"Now go, and be safe" he said before looking at the rest.
"All of you" before turning and quickly running back up the stairs followed by Charlie. Shoving the doors open they was met with the sight of Lilith holding Lucifer up against the wall by his throat.
"Tell me dear...what was you the king of again" she taunted out at him before she was thrown to the side.
"I warned you...to not touch my stuff" Alastor said as he stood there between her and Lucifer as Charlie went to check on him.
"Ah yes...the rebound sinner" she said with a smirk as she got back up to her feet.
"Sure you wanna go against me, I'll break you like a twig" she taunted out trying to make him back down and to rub in how powerful she was.
"To protect my family, I will do whatever it takes" he said as he got into a little stance, ready to defend against her next attack. Lilith charged at Alastor who merely dodged out of the way, and continued to do this.
"Stay still you little twerp!" She shouted as she continued to try and hit him.
"All this rage, it must be hard when you have a opponent that fights back" he teased her as he leaned back avoiding another swing.
"Your arrogant, snobby and stuck up. And worst of all. Your sloppy" he said as he swung his cane and hit her legs, knocking her down to the floor. She got up only to get punched in the face again, cradling her cheek she looked up as Charlie stood there with a angry scowl on her face.
"Thats for how you treated dad" she said as Lilith went to get up.
"Now hasn't anyone told you to respect your elders" she said only to get hit once again.
"Not you...I will never respect you again mother" she spat out.
"Very well then..." She said as she kicked her legs around and took Charlie and Alastor right off their feet.
She turned towards Charlie as she stood up.
"Im sorry about this dear...But heaven awaits me, and I need to remove any problems first"
Liliths attention was pulled away from Charlie as she heard a whooshing sound behind her. She turned just in time to watch Alastors cane whiz by her head as he brought it down with all his might trying to get her away from Charlie, The cane was close enough that she could feel the air off it. Alastor didnt move quick enough as she hit him with a blast, not a powerful one but enough to make his shoes slide against the ground a few feet and double over, catching himself on his knees with his hands on the ground. Alastor coughed a few times before he spit some blood out onto the ground.
"Just save yourself the humilation and stay down" she said with a scoff and watched as he coughed a few more times before looking up at her.
"I'll keep fighting" he wheezed out as he forced himself up.
"I will keep swinging" his body cried out against him as it sent waves of pain out, but he ignored it. His family needed him and he wasn't about to let them down in a time of need.
"Until I have nothing left" he said as he finally hoisted himself up to his feet with a grunt. His entire body felt like it was on fire from the blast as he stood there, but moved and put himself back into a fighting stance. Lilith looked around as she took note of Lucifer, and Charlie standing around her as well. The odds were piling up against her as she was getting attacked from all angles now, Alastor was attacking her on the left. Charlie was hitting her from the right and Lucifer was attacking her head on.
"I have had enough of this!" She shouted out as she threw her arms down blasting the ground. The shockwave wave sent them all flying away from her. Charlie was thrown back and skidded across the dirt as she tumbled some. Alastor was launched into one of the few remaining walls of the hotel before he slid down against the ground, knocked out from the impact. Lucifer had faired about as well as Charlie, but was at least able to use his wings a little to brace himself on the fall. He looked up at his Ex-wife as she stood there. Her dress was torn and she had some marks on her body and stared at him eith complete hatred.
"You have ruined everything for me!" She cried out as she took a step forward.
"And now. It is time to ruin everything for you!" She shouted at him before she raised her hands and generated a bolt of energy before hurling it towards Lucifer who was still on the ground. He used his arm and his wings to cover his face...but the impact never happened, he slowly moved his arm and wings out of the way and looked up to see Michael standing there. He was crouched down on a knee hiding his body behing his shield which glowed lightly from the blast.
"Michael..." Lucifer said as he watched his brother stand there blocking the shot. His shoes kidding backwards a little as he braced the shield up, the orange glow grew on the shield as it started in the edges and worked it's way towards the middle of it from the heat of the blast. After a few seconds the blast ended and Michael stood up from behind his shield before he turned and looked down at his brother.
"Im through running away from my fears"
Michael said as he offered a hand to help lucifer up off the ground. He looked at his brother with a smile and reached up grasping his hand. Being pulled up he gave a nod of appreciation as he turned his attention back towards her.
"Ah Lilith...Id like to be the first to inform you that you are banned from heaven for all the actions you have done here" Michael said with a smile as he stood there and watched as her face turned even more red and she glared at Lucifer.
"You have ruined everything, just like you always do!" She screamed out at him.
"You know..before that would affect me. You made me think that it was impossible for anyone to love me, until I was shown otherwise...you never loved me. You only wanted the power that came with it" Lucifer said as he looked at her, watching as she jumped at him and brought her fist back to punch him, only for him to stop it with ease.
"I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard" Lucifer said as he punched Lilith and sent her backwards a little. Looking up she watched as he rolled the sleeves up on his jacket, not stopping his advance towards her.
"Always holding back, afraid that I might break something or someone" he said as Lilith looked up at him while holding a hand on her chest.
"But you can take it. Cant you" he said as he stopped infront of her.
"What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to let loose. And show everyone just how powerful I really am" he said as he brought his arm back and with his hand balled up into a fist. He stepped into the punch with a yell. Lilith had her arms up to try and block it, but it was useless as the blow hit her and sent her flying.
She was launched backwards through the air and through a wall on the hotel before tumbling down the hill a little ways. Lucifer heard a whistle beside him and looked over at his brother.
"Glad you held back on me up in heaven" he said with a chuckle.
"Go finish it, I'll check on the others" he said before making his way over to Alastor who was still not moving. Lucifer started his way down the hill towards Lilith who was still on the ground coughing as she held her stomach.
"You made a mistake picking someone to do your dirty work" he said as he walked towards her.
"You made a even bigger mistake picking my family to harm to get to me" he said as he clenched his fist.
"And now you've just made the biggest mistake trying to kill me!" He said as she looked up at her and he stopped a few steps away.
"No where to run Lilith....no where to hide...You.Are.Mine" Lucifer said as he looked down at her with his horns sprouted out.
Michael grabbed Alastor and gently rolled him over as he heard a yell from the hillside before he felt the ground shake violently, the battle was replaced with a peaceful silence as he focused back on Al.
"Wake up there big guy" he said tapping the sides of his face lightly, earning a slight groan. He watched as his eyes slowly opened and looked around some.
"Wh...what..happened" he wheezed out as he asked, a hand subconsciously moving to his chest which felt like a entire heard had trampled across. His eyes widened as if remembering and turned his head some as if he suddenly remembered. Looking around they quickly landed on the blonde mop of hair laying on the dirt away from him.
"Char...charlie" he wheezed out as he tried to roll over and get to his feet, or some. Michael looked over at her and left Alastors side to get to her quicker.
"Come on charlie..wake up" he urged her gently as she laid there with a arm cradled around her stomach. Hearing her name she groaned out a little and opened an eye looking up at him and smiling weakly.
"H..hey.." shebsaid softly, which led to Micheal letting out a breath that he didnt realize he was holding.
"Oh thank goodness your ok...I dont think Lucifer wouldve taken that well" he said as he put a hand on her head before looking over at Alastor who was slowly dragging himself closer.
"Its alright Alastor. Shes ok" he said and watched as he slowed down a little but continued his advance. Seeing this Michael moved over and helped him up.
"I gotcha" he saidbas he helped Alastor over to Charlie and watched as he pulled her up against him and hugged her gently as to not hurt her more.
"Dont scare me like that sweetie" he said as he let a little tear move down his face.
"Are you hurt anywhere?" He asked, forgetting about his own pain and wounds to focus on her.
"Just my stomach...I dont think it's bleeding or anything. Just hurts like a bitch" she said as she put a hand on it.
"Let me see" he said as he moved back some and watched as she moved her shirt up, there was no cuts or bleeding, but definitely gonna leave a bruise behind. Putting a hand on it and gently pushing around he nodded.
"Just a bad bruise. I dont feel anything wrong on the inside"
Michael stood up from the group and moved over towards the hill. He looked down and saw his brother standing there and just looking up at the sky.
Lucifer jumped a little as he felt a hand on his shoulder and looked over at Michael.
"Everything alright brother?" He asked, Lucifer smiled and nodded at this.
"Just taking in the moment...finally free of her torment" Lucifer said as Michael looked down at the hole in the hillside, at the center resided Lilith's lifeless body.
"You actually did it..."
"She left me no choice...I wasn't going to let her hurt my family anymore" he said before looking over.
"Where's Al and Charlie at" he asked a little quickly.
"At the top..little bruised but for the most part Ok" he said before he watched as Lucifer took off up the hill towards them. Following behind he walked up the hill and saw the sight of Lucifer sitting there on his knees holding onto Al and Charlie.
"Its ok...your safe..I got you both" he said as he held them and had his wings wrapping around them as well.

At Rosie's shop Vaggie paced around the place nervously while Rosie was distracting the kids, the others waited as well and helping Rosie eith the kids. The bell chimed as the door opened and Vaggies head snapped up towards it before relief flooded her eyes as she took off across the room and grabbed onto Alastor.
"Ooff...Easy there sweetie" he said gently as he put his arms back around her, giving her back a soft pat.
"Told you I was coming back to you" he said as she smiled some at this before looking up at him and gasping some.
"Your hurt..." She said as she looked up at his ears, noticing the cuts on them and some blood seeping through his shirt in different places, nothing major but to much to hide.
"Ill be alright, takes more then that to knock me down" he said with a light chuckle before vaggie moved over and gave Charlie a hug and a kiss as well. Alastor slowly made his way towards Rosie and the kids and smiled at her.
"Thanks for looking after them Rosie"
"Dont mention it Al, the moment Vaggie told me what was happening I had this whole town on alert. She wasn't going to lay a finger on these cuties or your friends" she said as she stood up.
"And you. Lets go get you all cleaned up" Rosie get her supplies out and made quick work of cleaning up and tending to the 3 of them.
"Thank you Michael..for what you did today" Lucifer said as he gave his brother a hug.
"Dont mention it bro, but I need to get back heaven and take care of some things. Dont be a stranger" he said as he let go of Lucifer and smiled before getting outside and spreading his wings, taking off towards the sky now.
The family stood there in the lobby of Rosie's shop before Lucifer smiled at them all. The Morningstar family had proved it's might and the fact that they could handle anything thrown at them as long as they stuck together.
"Lets go home everyone" he said with a smile.

And the End...holy crap I was so frustrated with myself trying to write this!
Im terrible at fighting scenes and was trying so hard to find a way that flowed together somewhat decently, constantly re-writing sections to make it better before erasing it all again. I finally said screw it and just wrote down what I came up with and left it.
So, apologizies if it's not that great..I was tired of making everyone wait. And was just stuck.

Anyways.
This is the end of the book...its been a journey for sure, As many of you know I only planned on making like 10...or 15 chapters and it just kept going.
And I never expected it to become this popular...the friends Ive made along the way and the memories..thank you everyone :)

There will be a pt2 of this...some day, I have many ideas to go and other books to write, I hope you will enjoy them as well.
