Quick note. So i already have the next chapter planned out and started, I was going back and fourth on this to add it here and do a long one, but opted with some help to save it for another chapter

Lucifer looked at Charlie before he pulled her into the room and over the the bed where he sat down and pulled her down beside him.
"Tell me what happened sweetie" he said gently. Lucifer and Alastor both sat there and listened to her as she explained what had just happened. She told them about the fight and vaggie walking out of the room taking Victoria with her before she started to cry again while looking at the ring in her hands right now. Lucifer looked up at Al who nodded understanding what he ment. He was still hurting with his own family troubles but his new family needed him more, his daughter needs him and there wasn't anything more important then that right now, sinking into the shadows he re-appeared down in the lobby of the hotel and did a quick scan of the lobby and didn't see any signs of her before walking off to find her now.
Back upstairs Lucifer was holding onto Charlie as she cried into his shoulder and was holding onto him.
"I got you appleseed, just let it all out" he said softly as he rubbed her back, feeling like deja vu having just gone through all this with Al earlier, but he was her father and she was his world, not like he was just gonna tell her to figure it out on her own.
"You are nothing like your mother appleseed" he said as he held her against her.
"But I am...I..I was controlling v..Victoria's life..and not listening to Vaggie" she stuttered out as she held onto him. Lucifer sat there thinking of a response for this. Lucifer thought for a moment before he moved and
held Charlie at arm's length, looking into her tear-stained face.
"Appleseed, listen to me," he said, his voice firm but gentle.
"You are not like your mother. You're kind, compassionate, and you genuinely care about people. Your mother...she was a different story altogether."
Charlie sniffled, wiping her nose on her sleeve.
"But I was controlling Victoria's life, Dad. And I wasn't listening to Vaggie. That's exactly what Mom would do."
Lucifer's expression softened, and he pulled Charlie back into a hug. "Appleseed, everyone makes mistakes. Even me. But it's how you learn from those mistakes that matters. You're recognizing your errors and trying to make amends. That is something your mom never did" he said in a gentle tone.
"B..but"
"Sweetie" he said as he pulled back from the hug to look at her.
"Did you go out of your way to purposely hurt Vaggies feelings, belittle her and make her feel bad?" Lucifer asked as he held her hands, he watched her think before shaking her head.
"N..no"
"Did you ever call her names, or say you don't love her?" He asked again getting another head shake.
"Was you with her just because you was gaining something from it and not for love?" He asked as she shook her head for the third time.
"Then appleseed you are nothing like your mom. She would go out of her way to hurt me, belittle me, make me feel like a failure and unloved" he said softly. It hurt a bit to think back to all of that but his daughter needed to hear this. Charlie seemed to think some as she felt a hand cup her cheek.
"My little appleseed...you are nothing like your mother, never compare yourself to her" he said in a firm tone, but with warmth behind it and a gentle smile.
"Bu..but I still...controlled them..I..I ignored Vaggie!" She said as a new set of tears was getting ready to drop. Lucifer looked at her and smiled some as he thought of this.
"Sweetie...do you know why I built lu lu world?" He asked her now as Charlie looked at him confused wondering why he was asking this as she shook her head.
"I built it, because of my little appleseed, we would go to parks and stuff but you didn't like any of them and we'll, we couldn't have my little girl being upset now could we?" He said as Charlie was still confused seeing how this related to her at all.
"What I'm trying to say sweetie. Is your a first time parent, being paranoid..scared, overthinking things and wanting the absolute best is a part of this, it is very common for first time parents to fight over stuff, the big question is...what are you gonna do to fix this?" He asked her now.
