Sorry for the long wait!
As mentioned on my post I took a few days break to give myself some time to recharge. But I'm back to writing once more.

Hope you enjoy the chapter!

Charlie was on the couch with Vaggie as they had Victoria between them before she heard the ding of the elevator. Looking over at it she saw her dad walking out of it and towards the kitchen.
"I'll be right back Vaggie" she said before getting up and moving to the kitchen where he was, she had asked him about Alastor. Lucifer told her that something had happened and it wasn't his place to say which didn't answer any of her questions and left her wondering what happened. But he asked her not to pry for it and she never planned to anyways, she nodded as she left the kitchen after checking in with her dad on how Alastor was doing. Walking into the lobby she saw Vaggie there feeding Victoria and smiled as she went and sat down beside her.
"Whats bothering you babe?" Vaggie asked as she looked up at Charlie.
"Im just worried about Alastor Is all, you seen him, he was just...different" Charlie said with a sigh.
"Relax, Lucifer will help him. It's what partners are for, he will get through it" she said
"Your right" Charlie said with a bit of a smile.
"How'd I get so lucky to get all this" she said with a smile as she rested her head on Vaggies shoulder before feeling her lean her head over on top of hers.
"Love you to babe" she said with a smile of her own. They spent the day with Victoria and playing with her and ended up in the bedroom. Vaggie sat on the bed smiling as she was holding Victoria and feeding her for dinner before getting her ready for bed.
"So, what do you think about a daycare for her, let her get out and meet new friends and stuff" Vaggie suggested now. As much as she'd love to keep Victoria in the hotel to themselves all the time, she feels it would be nice to let her get out and make some new friends.
"I...dont know if that's such a good idea" Charlie said after a moment. Almost like she was hesitant about it or something.
"I think it's a great idea, Charlie. A daycare would be perfect for Victoria. She'd get to socialize with other kids, and we could help other demon parents out, like those who aren't sure what to do, it may be better for all of us you know?" She said with a smile trying to pitch the idea again to her.
"I don't know, Vaggie. I'm just not comfortable with the idea."
"What's not to be comfortable with? It's just a daycare."
"It's not just a daycare. It's...it's leaving Victoria with strangers. What if they can't take care of her?" Charlie said now as she looked up with Vaggie who noticed the hints of worry on her face, kinda assuming she was just being over paranoid about it.
"Charlie, they have a qualified staff. People who know how to take care of kids." She offered now as she tried to settle Charlies nerves.
"But what if something happens? What if...what if I'm not there to protect her?"
"Charlie, What's going on? Why are you so scared?" Vaggie asked as she looked at her now, trying to understand just what was bothering her so much.
"I'm just...I'm worried about losing her, okay? I'm worried that something will happen and I won't be able to protect her."
"Charlie, that's not rational. We'll take every precaution to ensure Victoria's safety."
"You don't understand! You don't know what it's like to be responsible for someone else's life!" Charlie said as she raised her voice some. It was clear to Vaggie that something was going on.
"Actually, Charlie, I think I do. I'm responsible for you and Victoria, just like you are."
"No, Vaggie, it's not the same! You're not the one who's always worrying about something happening!"
"Maybe not, Charlie. But I am the one who's always trying to support you and Victoria. And it feels like you're not even willing to listen to me, Every time I bring up a idea for her or us you practical shut me down on it!" Vaggie complained as her voice has also started to rise some but also trying to keep things calm.
"I just don't want anything to happen to her, Vaggie. I want to protect her," Charlie said as now she tried to reason some, she didn't want Vaggie to know the real problems she was facing. She was the princess of hell, she shouldn't have to rely on others to help her.
"From what, Charlie? From living? You're suffocating her, and you're suffocating me. We need to give her space to grow," Vaggie replied, her voice rising.
"You don't understand, Vaggie. You don't know what it's like to...to worry all the time," Charlie said, her eyes flashing with anger.
"I do understand, Charlie. I understand that you're holding on too tight. You need to learn to let go," Vaggie shot back at her. She didn't want to fight with Charlie but it was getting to that point.
"Let go? You want me to just let go? You have no idea what you're asking," Charlie said, her voice firm as she stared at Vaggie. How could she ask her to just let go of Victoria. That was also her daughter not just Vaggies.
"I'm asking you to trust me, Charlie. To trust that I can take care of our daughter too. But every time I try to make a decision about Victoria's life, you shut me down," Vaggie said, her voice trembling with frustration, All Vaggie was wanting was to be able to have some say about decisions made for Victoria.
"That's not true" Charlie shouted back, but not as confidently as before, had she been doing that this whole time?
"It is true, Charlie! You've been doing it for weeks now. Every idea I have, every suggestion I make, you just shut it down without even considering it. It's like you don't trust me at all," Vaggie said, her voice rising with more anger and frustrations, she was even more frustrated at the fact that Charlie didn't even seem to realize this.
"If you feel that way, then maybe we want different things, Maybe this was never going to work out!" Charlie said, her voice cold. Vaggie's eyes flashed with hurt, and for a moment, she just sat there staring at Charlie. Then without a word Vaggie proceeded to slide the ring off of her finger and stand up from the bed with Victoria still in her arms.
"Then maybe it's for the best...I need some space" she said as she placed the ring down on the nightstand, Charlie was sitting there as if her brain had finally caught up to the words her mouth had just spewed out of it and her face instantly softened.
"N..no no Vaggie wait! Please I..I didnt" but she was cut off as Vaggie looked over her shoulder at her.
"Dont bother...you've made yourself clear already" she said before opening the door and shutting it behind her, Once outside she leaned back against the door as she took in a shuddering breath, the wetness in her eyes transformed into a few tears that were wanting to run down, she couldn't believe that had all just happened, She reached up and wiped her eyes some before taking a breath. Charlie wanted this, she brought it upon herself. She thought before walking down the hallway now.
Back inside the room Charlie had yet to move. She sat on the bed trembling some as she stared at the door Vaggie had just walked out of, she was so afraid of becoming like her mom, That she had done it anyways without even realizing it. The thought soon hit her like a ton of bricks, she had pushed Vaggie away, and now she was alone.

I hope I didn't disappoint anyone with this and hope it makes sense.
If it did, then I apologize and will try and do better next chapter
