Back down in Hell Rosie was having a wonderful time with the kids, playing with them between customers and stocking some items on the shelf, referring to Alastors sheet for when the feeding times were, slipping off into her little office in the back she sat the bag down on her table and grabbed the kids from their stroller as she started to feed them, doing it one at a time as she didn't have a helper to feed them all at once, but she enjoyed it none the less, one by one the bottles were emptied by the hungry little tikes until they started to yawn and fall asleep, Rosie smiled as she looked at them and put them back down in the stroller, watching at how they had already fallen asleep.
"Well, that went rather well," she said quietly with a smile before she got up and left the office, gently closing the door behind her before she walked back out to the store. It was almost noon, so the morning rush had already come and gone. Walking back over to the register, she smiled as she started to work with the customers again. While doing this, though she was keeping a close eye on the clock, Al's paper had said that they tend to sleep for nearly 30 minutes before showing any signs of waking up. Rosie finished with her customer as she door opened up and she watched as Alastor walked in with Lucifer holding his hand, she smiled at them as she walked away from the register and moved over to them.
"You're just in time. They should be waking up from their nap soon," Rosie said as they started back towards her office.
"They wasn't too much trouble, was they?" Lucifer asked.
"Not a bit, they didn't give me no fuss at all this morning" she said as she opened the door to reveal the kids still sleeping soundly, the 3 of them walked into the room and as if realizing the parents were there. All 3 kids started to stir and move around a little.
"There are my adorable little trouble makers" Al said with a smilenas he laid eyes back onto his children, he had missed them dearly throughout the day and couldn't see how someone could leave them for an entire day, he was only gone for the morning and was thinking about them all the time.
"How did things go with your plans today?" Rosie asked as she sat down on the couch, watching as they moved to the stroller. She still wasn't aware of anything that had happened, really. Alastor never mentioned it to her.
"Ah yes, it went rather well today with her," Alastor said as he picked up Rosie from the stroller while lucifer grabbed the other 2.
"There's my little ducklings" he said with a smile of his own as he picked them up and held onto them. He wasn't quite as bad as Alastor was, but also wasn't his first time being a new parent.
"If you don't mind me asking Al, what was you even up there for?" Rosie asked curiously.
"If you must know" he said with a smile as he sat down on the couch
"I was visiting my mother"
"You finally found her?" Rosie asked as bit impressed, she knew Al had always wondered about her and knew she was up in heaven, but being a sinner could never get up there himself to look for her.
"Well thanks to becoming royalty, I can accompany Lucifer up to heaven when he goes to visit his family, and while we are there I got to find mom, though I owe it all to my family, Vaggie was able to get ahold of my mom's phone number on my birthday and it started this trip to meeting her." He said as he was looking at Rosie, while holding the other Rosie in his hands.
"Well I'm happy for you Al"
"Why don't you let us take you out for dinner tonight Rosie, A thank you for helping us out today" Lucifer said as he chimed in now.
"Oh there's no need for that, Spending the day with these cuties was more then enough for me" she replied back to him. But he wasn't taking no for a answer.
"I insist Rosie, it's the least we can do for you"
"Well...If you insist, I'm not one to pass up a free meal"
Rosie closed her shop up later that day as they had mostly hung out in her office chatting about different things, Occasionally she would run out to check on the people outside but for the most part it was rather quiet in the afternoon.
"So where do we want to go?" Lucifer asked as they walked outside of Rosie's shop before she turned and locked the door.
"What about that Restaurant that vaggie took Charlie to?" Alastor suggested now.
"That sounds good to me" Rosie added in. After agreeing on where to go they started the journey down the sidewalk, arriving at the place a little later.
"Table for 6"
"R..right away sir!" The waiter said, it wasn't every day that you got to meet the king of hell. So as one could predict it didn't take long for them to get a table. Able to bypass the long wait line and having the reserve months ahead like everyone else did have it perks at times.
"This is a really nice restaurant" Lucifer said as he looked around, the place had a elegant flair to it, being clear that it didn't spare no expense on designing this place. Of course he has seen better.
Dinner was going well. The idle chats around the table as they all talked about different things, Lucifer really got to know Rosie a lot better and how she was always there for Alastor when he was new here. The way she guided him through it and protected him, it was very clear why he named the girl after her, the impact she had on his life, and it was going well until it happened.
"Daddy?"
"What is it duckling?" Lucifer asked as he looked over at Conrad. His brain took a moment to process it unlike Rosie's and Alastors. But after a moment it finally clicked for him.
"You talked!" He said happily as he now turned towards him.
"Your first words!"
The Dinner had taken a turn and was now filled with even more excitement for everyone.
"Oh wait until Charlie hears about this" Lucifer said with a smile.
