Im sorry again for such a long wait..been beating myself up for taking so long to write these chapters🥺
I hope that they were worth the wait at least!

Also..I have a goal for the book. Im gonna aim for 70 chapters and then I think it's gonna be time to end this one and start anew.
Thoughts?

Pentios spent almost an entire hour in the room with them as he was introduced to the kids and played with them alongside Al and Lucifer before he bidded them goodnight and left to his own room. Lucifer closed the door before turning back towards his family, all laying on the bed, and smiled as he moved over and joined them.
"Glad we were able to help him out today," Lucifer said as he laid down and propped himself up on an arm as the kids slept between him and Al.
"Agreed, my dear. Was quite nice to be able to finally make admends for how I treated him before, " Alastor said with a light hum of agreement. Lucifer was about to say something but stopped as his phone started to ring.
"Weird. Wonder who would be calling at this time of night?" He said as it was going on almost 10 pm now. Reaching down into his pocket, he grabbed his phone before holding it up and looking at the screen, which only puzzled him a little more. Swiping the answer button on it, he held it up to his ear.
"Micheal?" He asked now.
"Hello brother,"
"What do you want... I mean why are you calling at this hour of the night?" Lucifer asked, rephrasing his words a little so it didn't sound as rude.
"I do apologize for calling you at this time of night..just had a lot on my mind here recently," Micheal said as Lucifer listened.
"Do you need to talk about it or something?"
"Well ive just been thinking lately about things..we've kinda got back to being in each other's lives and all that but I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if we hung out for the day like old times. Just you and me once again" Micheal said for a moment as he listened to the silence on the other end of the phone. Lucifer wasnt quite sure what to say at the moment, and it was clear that he's been dwelling on this for quite a while now.
"Im...it does sound like fun Micheal..but you know I have a family to take care of..hell to run and everything else going on" he said before he paused and looked over at Alastor as a snap had grabbed his attention. He looked at Al who merely smiled and gave a nod of his head.
"But you are right...it has been far to long since we have had a day to ourselves like that. Give me a day to get some things set up and then I will be up first thing the following morning alright?"
Lucifer said before waiting to get a answer back from Micheal.
"I look forward to seeing you at the gates" the phone call ended with a click and Lucifer sat his phone down on the nightstand beside the bed.
"I can handle these cuties for a day, but you need to go spend the day with your brother, I think it will go far towards your relationship and fixing what happened in the past" Alastor said as he looked at Lucifer who nodded in agreement.
"I have to agree with you on that one. I feel like it's been on his mind for a while, like he's been trying to find a way to approach the subject"  Lucifer said as he thought about how Micheal acted through the phone call.
"Ill get Charlie to cover for me and if you can handle the kids for a day, then I will head up to heaven and spend the day with him and hopefully become true brothers once more"
"That sounds like a terrif idea my dear" Al said before he leaned in and gave Lucifer a quick kiss.
"Now perhaps help me get these little tikes to bed and then we can enjoy some cuddle time?" Alastor asked with a hum, Lucifer couldn't help but to smirk just a little at this.
"That" he started to say as he moved and reached a arm over the kids and put it on his husband's chest.
"Sounds like a wonderful idea" he said  before they both got up and carried the kids to the cribs and tucking them in with a kiss on the forehead.
"Sweet dreams my little ducklings" Lucifer said softly as he turned the light off in the room and moved towards the bed with Alastor.
Snapping a finger he was instantly changed into his night gown and looked at the disappointed face of Alastors.
"Whats wrong dear?" He asked a little confused at this.
"You ruined my show" Alastor said with a little bit of a grumble. He was looking forward to watching his beloved short king strip down to change into his night gown...or perhaps just strip down and leave it at that.
"Awww...was Little bambi feeling a little frisky tonight?" Lucifer asked with a grin as he reached up and started to slowly undo the buttons on his shirt.
"Well perhaps I may just have to treat you a little...a earlier payment for babysitting for me no?" He asked as his grin grew a little more. He watched as Alastors ears pointed back up in the air and his eyes went straight to his exposed chest. With each button undone it was revealing more of that delectable pale white skin that he loved oh so much.
"Im not gonna say no to a early payment if your kind enough to offer it" he replied, his eyes glued to the kings body as he watched him pull the shirt off and hold it off to the side on a finger before letting it drop to the floor.
"Oopps" Lucifer said with a little giggle before slowly strutting closer towards Alastor, he watched as a pair of hands came out and grabbed him by his waist. He felt as Alastor lifted him with ease and placed him down on his lap where Lucifer felt a excited part.
"Mmmm...better be careful there bambi..would hate to be bred again by my strong buck" Lucifer teased as he put his hands on Al's shoulder to hold himself up, One thing for sure though was Al's intentions of merely cuddling had done left the chat. He was on the hunt for more tonight and Lucifer was more then happy to help satisfy the demons desires.
