Chapter 25

Maddie

"Maddie, I swear when I catch you, your in so much trouble" Jack laughed as he chased me around the house, we were still at on our little getaway break. I had sneakily stolen his bandana and refused to give it back to him so now here we were, me running around, refusing to give him his bandana back and Jack chasing me. 

"You'll have to catch me first" I laughed back in return as I run upstairs towards the bedroom we had been sharing. 

I had only just ran into the room and was about to turn around to see how far behind me Jack was but before I could even turn around, I felt Jack's strong arms wrap around me and pull me close to him. 

"Caught you" Jack said, his lips close to my ear. 

"So you have, so now what?" I asked before biting my bottom lip

Jack quickly twirled me around so I was now face to face with him, we gazed into each others eyes but Jack's normal dark brown eyes were now a lot darker and filled with mischief and lust. 

At this point, just from that look in Jack's eyes, I knew I was done for. 

"First I'm taking back my bandana that you thought would be a good idea to steal from me" Jack began to say in a slow tone as he reached down to my right hand and took his bandana back. 

"You should really know better than to steal something from a wolf and then tease him about it" Jack continued still in that dangerously tone. 

He walked us slowly, him facing forward and me backwards, he walked us until my legs hit the bed and then I slowly sat on the bed before laying down on it, Jack slowly moving to hover above me. 

"Should I be worried about stealing from  a wolf and teasing him even if he is my boyfriend?" I asked

"Oh definitely, in fact, you being my girl makes this whole situation a lot worse for you" Jack whispered as he lowered himself on top of me. 

"I think you need to show me what you mean and how me being yours, makes the situation worse" I suggested

Without another word being spoken, Jack leaned down and connected our lips together. We were soon in yet another one of our heated make out sessions. This time though, none of us were giving in, only deepening things so they got more heated between us. I slipped my hands up under Jack's t shirt and let my hands explore his perfectly tones body. 

"You just can't keep your hands off me can you?" Jack teased as he broke away from our heated make out, we both panted for air for a moment.

I was about to answer him when we were suddenly interrupted by the ringing of Jack's phone. I let my head fall onto the mattress while Jack groaned before answering his phone. 

"Liam this better be important, I'm still on my break" Jack said into his phone, I could tell from his tone that he was aggravated and annoyed at being interrupted. 

I watched Jack as he listened to Liam on the phone, I could tell from the sudden change in Jack, his tone of voice and the look on his face, it must be bad. I let my head fall onto the soft pillow behind me as I continued to watch Jack as he listened to Liam and talked to him. 

"Do you have any idea who might have done it?" Jack quizzed 

I soon let my eyes wonder over the bedroom that Jack and I had been sharing for the past few days and nights that we had been here, I was currently still lying on the bed with Jack sitting on me whilst on his phone. Jack had already managed to get his bandana off me during our previous struggle. As I looked around, my eyes were suddenly drawn over to the window, I watched as birds flew all over freely up by the blue sky, these last few days away here with just Jack had really done me so much good, I hadn't had any more weird nightmares or anything.
