Entry 2:
Ever since I can remember, my sisters and I have been very close. Nix Sinclaire-Deveraux, the eldest of us three, is already married, hence the last name. My middle sister, Scarlett Sinclaire, is only dating and is living a wonderful life. Finally there is me, a High School student at Redd Valley High. Even if we are separated, because we live apart, it doesn't bother me, or them... We'll always see each other again. And perhaps soon, I'll be able to move somewhere and have a husband of my own, but for now... I'll live on with my sisters and parents.

I turned around to see both of my sisters. Scarlett's blonde hair and ice-blue eyes matched her perfectly, and made her look more like mother, and Nix's black hair and hazel eyes made her look like mother too. I admit that I was jealous of how they looked so much alike, when I look like the odd one out. If we were walking together, no one would be able to tell we have the same two parents. I mean, Scarlett and Nix both look more Vamp-ish, and I... I look more like I'd be a wolf. I'm not disappointed though, I mean, when they're freezing cold, I'm warm, so it's all good, I guess.
"Hello, my dears," Mum said to them, giving them each a hug. I greeted them as well, but once they started talking about their jobs and life at home, I slipped out of the room. I finished my homework, and decided to go for a walk. I had nothing better to do. I put my shoes on, and ran outside, hoping not to get caught. When I got by the woods, unfortunately, my dad was standing there. "What're you doing out here, Dusk?" he asked. He was in his wolf form. Every couple of nights, my dad would transform and walk around outside, leaving his scent everywhere, and etc. "Nothing, I just wanted to be outside," I said, sitting next to him. "Have you been practicing your transformation?" he asked me. I nodded. Since I'm a Halfling, I get both powers from each side, so I still have to practice some things. "Then show me," he said. His black fur shone in the moonlight, and his ice blue eyes were intense. I kicked off my shoes, and stood there.
I encouraged the wolf to come forth. I felt a tremor go down my spine and arms. I fell to the ground, and was fully transformed into a wolf. I looked like my dad, but just smaller and a little more like a girl. "Great job, Dusk," he said. "Thanks," I said, looking down at my big paws. My black fur felt like a jacket, and my senses were all more enhanced than before. Before, I was able to smell things from a block away, but now, I can smell from over 10 miles. I smelled water, but it was slightly different. After a few seconds, it started snowing. Every snowflake looked more detailed and more beautiful than I have ever seen one. "So... want to go for a run?" my dad asked, standing on all four legs, and shaking out his fur.
I nodded, slightly in a daze, "Yeah, I haven't done that since I was younger," I said. I stood up too, and then we were off. We took off into the forest, and headed towards the town of the Paranormal. I could hear our padded paws pounding on the soft dirt of the small woods, and the wind blowing through my fur. It was exhilarating. The pines smelled fresh, and I could still smell the snowflakes falling. When I looked to the side, everything was a blur, moving fast, but as I looked ahead, I could see where to go. My dad ran ahead of me, leading the way. We soon slowed down, as we neared the end of the normal human terrain, and came to a full stop in the Paranormal terrain.
We transformed back again, and I was in my clothes I left in, and so was my dad. No one didn't pay a lot of attention to us, they just kept moving along. This was normal for them. Everyone looked human, but didn't smell like it. They all smelled of Vampires, Wolves, Ghosts, Witches, Morphers, and etc. My dad brought me to a place he took me to every time we visited here, the Bookstore. As I walked in, I smelled something different than usual. It reminded me of Celine, but it was different. As I got closer to the "New Books" section, it became stronger. When I looked over to my left, I saw a handsome guy standing there. Right when I got there, his head shot up, and he looked up at me. His gray eyes staring at me intently, and his pure black hair (darker than even mine) was swept over his eyes. He pushed his hair back, and looked at me, first in confusion, and then emotionless.
He put his book back, which was right in front of me, "... You're not a full Wolf, are you? You're also a Vampire, am I right?" he said, looking back up at me. Usually people can't tell, so of course I was shocked when he said that to me. "Yes, how did you know?" I asked. He just gave me a sort of smug smirk, "Just because you have a wolf part doesn't mean I won't recognize the Vamp side, and vise-versa," he said. "That didn't answer my question," I said. "It runs in my blood. Being a full-on pureblood Vampire, means I can tell when you aren't a full wolf or vamp," he said. "Okay, Mr. Pureblood, what's your name?" I asked. "Zavier Slater. Just call me Xavier," he said, "What about you, Halfling?" I met is gaze and said, "My name is Dusk Sinclaire... nice to meet you." He smirked a little, "Yes, same here. Well, Ms. Sinclaire, I hope to see you around..." he said, and then disappeared. My dad walked up to me, "Who was that?" he asked. "A pureblood, c'mon, let's go home. Mum, Nix, and Scar probably found out we left," I said, walking out the door. One thing's for sure... Zavier is very mysterious, even for a pureblood.
