Entry 19:
I sometimes feel as if I'm lying to everyone, including myself. Vince and I had to learn the hard way that keeping our identities a secret was improtant. Before, we didn't care if people knew. No one asked us what we were, and weren't suspicious of us. No one knew we weren't human. Then, it all changed when Vince and I were kids. I guess the overall message is to keep things unknown to humans a secret. It may hurt us... but... we have to protect them.

I sat by myself, glancing around for the two idiots that had to open their mouths today. The day had ended in a blink of an eye. Throughout the day, I've been stuck between Vince and Zavier. Since Zavier always said I was his "partner in everything," he refused to sit anywhere else, and Vince said that he couldn't handle being far away from me. So, in every class I had, I sat in between the both of them. "Wow~ Having two guys chase after you~ They're like princes chasing after their one true princess~" I heard Carla say.
Sighing, I took a sip out of my water bottle. "None of us are like that. It'd be kind of wrong," I said. "Yet the princess has eyes for another~ The one true prince of the school~" she said, sighing dreamily. "Okay... obviously I've lost you..." I muttered to myself. She quickly shook her head, and looked at me, "What?" she asked. "Nothing. Why aren't those two back yet?" I asked. Carla pushed her finger against the bridge of her nose, to make it look like she were pushing up glasses if she had any, "Wait... What if those two are actually secret lover?!~" she squealed.
Ever since I've known her, Carla's been making people into couples in some sort of weird fantasies that run through her head. She had a mischievious glint in her eyes, and a wide grin on her face, "What if they're in the back right now, making out, and-" I stopped her, "Just... stop." She glared at me, and suddenly bounced right back to being happy. "Oh yeah. What were those two supposed to be doing anyways?" Carla asked. "Oh... uhh... I think they had to talk to one of the teachers about an assignment they could do, since they missed most of the School year," I said. "Huh~ Boring~" Carla said, pouting a little.
Carla went in her bag to get something, when my attention was caught on a paper in there. ... What the hell...? Carla kept rummaging through her bag, and then moved to her folder. I stared at the paper inside of her bag:
The Walker Team
The Walker Team has appeared! A mysterious Nightwalker and a fierce Daywalker unite forming the Walker Duo!
The rest of the paper was hidden in her bag. Carla glanced up at me, and I quickly tore my gaze from her bag. Why would Carla have that...? Maybe she picked it up of the street...? My phone started to ring, waking me from my thoughts. I answered it, "Dusk, wherever you are, go to the Nurse's office! He collapsed again!" I heard Vince's voice say frantically. "What?!" I asked, my eyes widening. "He woke up... but he's acting different. Hurry!" he said in a low whisper. I turned, ending the call with Vince, "Carla I have to-" I stopped to find Carla gone, "Go..." I looked around, but she was really gone. I shook my head, grabbed my stuff, and ran all the way across the school to the Nurse's office.
I slammed the door opened. I looked to see Vince with a small amount of blood on his shirt, and Zavier in one of the beds, sitting there. Vince's head shot up, and he appeared in front of me, "Don't go near him... he's different from last time," he said in a quick whisper. "What happened to you?" I asked. "When he collapsed, we were already on our way over to you. A teacher saw us, and told me to take him here. When I did, he started saying your name, and then he attacked me," he explained. "Why would he attack you?" I asked. Vince shrugged.
We heard a dark laugh coming from Zavier. "Why? Well...he's getting in my way of my... target... my toy," Zavier answered darkly. I stared at him as he got up off the bed. Vince scooted closer to me. "Oh, come now. Is that anyway a donor should treat her Vampire?" Xavier asked, walking towards us. "You say 'donor' but your eyes say something else!" Vince said through clenched teeth. Zavier stopped, and that's when I finally saw his eyes. His eyes were different... they were blood red instead of stormy gray.
