Entry 17:

I clearly stated that I hate roller coasters. The ones I hate most are emotional roller coasters. Instead of my stomach getting sick, I ache in my heart, and tears are produced. It's unfortunate how fast my feelings can change. Just like a roller coaster, my emotions were lifted high up in the sky, but within seconds dropped at a high speed.... Anyways, It's not like I won't survive, afterall, there are people there who are my saety bars to help me.

"So, what exactly do we do?" Zavier asked as Aiden took a seat on the other side of me. Vince sat across from us, making the way we sat into a square. "I guess we could always tell war stories..." Vince said. Aiden looked at him with a blank stare, "Have you even been in a fight?" he asked. I smiled, holding in my laugh. Vince stared back at Aiden, "Of course I have. Don't you remember when you stayed at my house? I had to beat those people up for you!" he exclaimed. When was this?! I never heard about this!!!  Aiden just smiled, "Okay, okay. I admit my defeat," he said jokingly. Vince and Aiden continued to talk about their adventures at their houses together. I had noticed I'd been staring at Aiden, until Zavier nudged me, "I hate to break it to you, but staring him down like he's food, isn't going to make him date you," he whispered.

I jumped back slightly, glared at him, and pushed him. He just smirked at me knowingly, and contunued to listen to the conversation. "How many days are you staying this time?" Aiden asked Vince. Vince thought, "... I guess... whenever Dusk goes back to school," he answered. Aiden tilted his head, "What's your relationship with each other?" he asked, looking at both of us. Seriously... why doesn't Vince explain these things before they ask? I sighed a little, and Vince grinned. "We're cousins," we said at the same time. Zavier stared at the both of us, "More like twins. That was creepy," he said. Aiden laughed, "Wow. You guys must be really close," he said.

I couldn't help but smile too. "Yeah... Oh! Why don't we play.... volleyball?" Vince asked. I could almost see the fire build up in his eyes. "Sure, why not?" Aiden said. Zavier just shrugged. "Okay! We decide the teams with sticks!" Vince said. Zavier and Aiden looked up with questioning looks, and I just shrugged it off. Vince ran off into the house, and came right back out, holding for sticks. "Whoever pulls out the matching to another one, are partners," he explained. Aiden pulled first, and then Zavier. Both of them got different sticks. Next was me, I just pulled a random one, and to my surprise, I was on Aiden's team.

Vince looked at Zavier, "Are you any good with this?" he asked. Zavier shrugged, "Dunno," was all he said. Aiden smiled at me, "Guess we're on the same team. I'm not as good as Vince, so..." he said, trailing off at the end. "N-no... It's fine. I'm not really that good either..." I said, smiling a little. Vince and Zavier set up the net, and Aiden and I took our positions. Vince got a ball, and soon, the match started, with Vince serving. He grinned widely, and hit it. My eyes widened as it zoomed past my face. "What the heck was that?!" I exclaimed. Vince smiled, "My bad! I seriously wasn't aimeing there!" he called. Aiden tossed the ball back, and this time, Zavier served. Zavier's serve was as fast as Vince's, maybe even faster.

With amazing speed, Aiden hit right back, scoring us a point. We smiled at each other, and I gave him a high-five. This time, it was our turn to serve. Aiden smiled, "You can serve," he said. I just nodded, and served it. My serve almost hit Vince, and zoomed passed Zavier. Both of them stared back at me in shock. Aiden ran up to me, "That was amazing, Dusk!" he exclaimed. When we were reaching the end of the game, we had a draw. "Alright! This is all or nothing!" Vince yelled. We all just nodded, and got into position.

The ball came flying at me, like it did when Vince first served. This time, I was able to hit it back with so much force, it flew past Vince and Zavier again, hitting the sand. A huge smile grew on my face, and Aiden ran up to me. He wrapped his arms around me, giving me a hug. My eyes widened a bit. "Hey you two! Go get a room!" Vince yelled. Aiden let go, smiling even brighter than before, "Nice job. Come on, let's go sit back down with the," he said, taking my hand and leading me back to the bonfire. Zavier watched as we sat down. I have to say, I was completely okay with it, if I were to be eaten by a shark at the moment. I was satisified with life. For a couple of hours, we all sat there, telling stories. I started to nodd off, immediately snapped my head up, to see all three of them staring at me. I stared back, "What...?" I asked warily.
