Entry 27:
Have you ever noticed how quickly someone's mood can change?!!! It's scary!!! This is why I should just stick with Carla and Vince. -sighs- Seriously, people are too much to handle. One minute they're happily getting along with you, and the next minute, they get really mad at you. It's so confusing! I mean, come on! Whatever. This whole friendship and fighting has me lost. I have no clue where to go with it, and how to handle it. Then again... two people can play at this game of fighting.

All through out the school day, girls surrounded Collin. It was "study hall" for our last period, meaning, we got to do whatever the heck we wanted to do. Vince was turned around in his seat in front of me, talking to me about a project for science. Zavier was sitting to my left by the window, and watching Vince talk. Carla was called out to do some work for her club, and wouldn't be back until the bell rang. "Hey, are we going to do anything tomorrow?" Vince asked suddenly. "What?" I asked. "Well... it's a minimum day tomorrow... I was just wondering," Vince stated.
"We could do something, I guess. I, honestly, was going to study for the finals," I said. "Finals?" Vince asked. "You're an idiot. They've been telling us through the whole day about them," Zavier said, kicking Vince's leg to get his attention. "That hurt, and I wasn't really paying attention after the lessons," Vince said. I heard a chair move beside me, and I turned to see Collin sitting next to me. "You escaped from the wrath of the girls?" I asked. "Yes. The teacher saved me. He said that if they get up from their seats again, they'd lose all their points from the whole year," he said with a laugh.
"So, what is everyone talking about?" Collin asked, looking between me, Zavier, and Vince. "Finals," we all answered at the same time. "Oh. Are you all going to have a study group, then?" he asked. Vince snapped, "That's actually a great idea. How about it, Slater?" Vince asked, staring at Zavier. Zavier shrugged, leaning his head on his hand. "Sure. You probably need a tutor," he answered nonchalantly. Vince glared at Zavier, who had a huge smirk plastered on his face. "Are you coming?" I asked Collin. "I can, if you want," he answered. "Sure. We accept any help," I said, nodding slowly. The bell rang, and that's when Carla walked in. As she grabbed her stuff, I invited her to the study group. "I'll go, it's tomorrow right?" she asked. I nodded. "Okay. I just can't go home with you today," she said.
She gave me an apologetic smile, and sent me a gesture, saying that she had more club work to do. "Oh yeah. I have to go home. Mom wants me to pick up some stuff for your mom," Vince said. "Home?" Zavier asked. "I do have a house elsewhere, remember? Serioudly, Slater," Vince said with a sigh. Zavier shook his head as Vince left. Zavier, Collin, and I stood up. "I'm going to go buy more clothes, since I can't go to my home, apparently," Zavier said to me. "Okay. I'll go with, if you want," I said. "I don't care," Zavier said, walking out the door. Collin and I followed. "Oh wait! I have to do something at home," I said to Zavier.
He shrugged, "I'll see you later, then," he said, walking the opposite way from my house. "Bye!" I yelled. "So... what exactly did you have to do?" Collin asked. "Nothing. I'd feel awkward just following him around the store," I admitted. Collin shook his head, "Alright. I'll walk with you, since I'm a gentleman," he said with a smile. "What does that have to do with anything?" I asked. Collin stared at me, "I just wanted to say that," he stated. "..o..kay...?" I said warily. "I was kidding around. Let's get going," he said, laughing at my wariness. As we walked, we talked about how he was born in England, and moved here. He talked about his visits to England, and even let me hear his American accent, which was pretty well done.
After a few minutes, we walked in silence for a short while. When we were reaching the end of the woods, right by my house, that's when Collin spoke again. "What would you do, if I suddenly told you that I like you?" he asked. I turned my head, "What do you mean?" I asked. "If I said, 'I like you,' what would you do?" he asked. My heart fluttered. "I... uhh..." I stuttered. What would I do...? He thought for a moment, "You don't have to answer that, it was only a question," he said, smiling at me and walking ahead. "..but... I like you too," I said, without much thought. He stopped, and slowly turned towards me. "It's... I really like you, but I just want to leave it at that... I want to see what happens," I said, turning my head to hide my blush. He walked up to me, "Then, let's forget that this moment happened," he said, smiling, "It'll be like our secret."
