Entry 38:
The agony of having the one you thought you could trust most lie to you is the worst. I want to just throw anything that had to do with the whole incident away, and just move on... but that doesn't happen in real life, does it? Maybe I should forgive him. He is something that I can't just throw away at any given moment. I want to hold on to him. I need to. I just want his explanation.

We moved to the King's study. It was a wide room, with various types of books. We sat at the table resembling one that you would find in a meeting room. "Please have a seat. We'll discuss what you need here," the queen said as she sat down at the head of the table. Zavier sat next to me, and I sat next to Vince. Jase took the seat next to the queen and Collin got the other side. This seating arrangement is... weird... The queen stared at Zavier and me.
"... Zavier, who is the girl?" she asked. He smiled at her, "She's someone Im dating." The queen's eyes widened, "What?! How could you not-" she stopped herself, "I mean, have you told your mother yet?" Zavier shook his head, "I did not get to. Some things came up, which is why I am here." The queen took a deep breath and gave Zavier a "we'll talk about this later" kind of look. "What did you need?" she asked.
"We need a book on the Sector Stone," Jase answered. "The Sector Stone? Why?" the queen asked, sounding a little shocked. Jase explained what happened for the last few days, and the queen listened carefully. After an hour of Jase explaining everything, the queen agreed to give us the book.
As we got up to leave, Zavier took my hand and helped me up. I guess I can forgive him... just this once... "Zavier, may I see you a moment?" the queen asked. He stopped in mid-stride, and faced the queen. "Yes," he answered, then turned towards me, "I'll meet you outside." He walked towards the queen, and she gave him a smile. I didn't get to see the rest, because I was pulled from the view. "Come on, Dusk. We have to go," I heard Carla say. I nodded, and followed everyone out. When Zavier had come out of the mansion after a few minutes, he seemed a little upset. He didn't tell me about it, so I just left it alone.

I sat in the library, waiting for the bell to ring. It's almost been a month since the whole Shadow and queen experience. For this whole month, nothing really happened. We started our regular schedule again, and Zavier's been a little upset. He tries to hide it, but I can feel it.
I looked up from my book when I heard the chair across from me move. "Hello, Collin," I greeted him. He smiled at me, "Hello, Dusk. What are you doing here?" he asked. "I was just reading, and waiting for the bell to ring. What about you?" I asked him. He pointed to some paperwork, "The homeroom teacher asked me to grade some papers." I nodded. Right when the bell rang, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I looked up again, and found Zavier leaning over me. "Were you here this whole time?" he asked me. "Yes. You wanna go now?" I asked him. He nodded, and waited for me to get up. I turned to Collin, "I'll see you later." He waved at me, and went back to what he was doing.
"So he's talking to you again?" Zavier asked as we walked out the doors. "Yes. He's probably upset still," I muttered. "Well, let's not worry about that, because today, I'm going to treat you to something expensive," Zavier said with a smile. I rolled my eyes at him, "Couldn't you just say, 'I'll treat you to something nice' instead of saying 'something expensive'?" I asked. "What's the point in that? Whatever the 'nice' thing is, it's going to be expensive," Zavier explained.
"Whatever. So where are we going?" I asked him. He shrugged as we finally got outside the gate. "I guess we can go to-" he stopped when his phone began to ring. "Hold on," he sighed as he grabbed it and answered it. I watched him as he spoke. "What is it?" he asked the other person. He stopped and listened to what they had to say.
