Entry 14:
Something always happens to someone to make them act... peculiar. Well... not just peculiar, they act strangely different. It can either be a real threat, or drag you to a whole new perspective on things. Things like this usually tend to shock you, and can probably make you change yourself. When this time comes, and you're face-to-face with the shock...maybe even fear, you have to realize that there is something strange and take action.

The next morning, Vince woke up extremely early, like he usually does when we go somewhere. He woke me up, "Dusk. Get up," was all I heard. I blinked my eyes open, and yawned. Last night, Vince and I slept in the living room, so Xavier could sleep in my room. Zavier was reluctant at first, but finally gave in when I just left to go to sleep. "Wake Zavier up, so I can get some clothes and get dressed," I said to Vince. He sighed, "Fine." We both walked up the stairs, and went into my room.
I grabbed some clothes, and Vince tried to wake up Zavier. Tried. Vince gave up and turned to me, "Dusk~ He won't wake up~" he whined, pouting a little. I sighed and kicked Zavier, making him fly off the bed. Zavier looked up at me, "What the hell?" he asked. I giggled, "You weren't waking up," I said. He shook his head, and stood up. I went in the bathroom to change. When I finished, I went downstairs to put everyone's bags by the door.
Pretty soon, my whole family was awake, and everyone was ready. Vince draped an arm around my shoulders, and grinned, "Let's hit the road," he said. I laughed, "Let's go already!! I wanna have as much fun as I can before school starts again!" I exclaimed. Vince kept his arm over me, and we walked outside with our stuff. As usual, we saw a luxury bus sitting in the front. If I were to describe the bus, it would be like a very nice RV and Tour Bus. "Man, I missed hanging out like this," I heard Vince say. I smiled up at him, "No you don't. You only missed me," I said, flipping my hair dramatically. I heard Zavier, who was walking to the side of us, sigh. I glanced over at him, but he didn't say anything. I just shrugged him off, and continued to talk to Vince.
"Do you remember when we were little, and it was the first time we went to the Royal Family's mansion?" I asked Vince. He stared at me in puzzlement, "Of course I remember. We went through hell that whole week," he said shuddering slightly. We sat down at the table that was by the window. Zavier sat next to me, and Vince had to sit across from us. "Have you been to the Royal Family's mansion?" Vince asked, looking at Zavier. Zavier didn't answer at first, but then he shrugged, "More or less," was all he said. I stared at him, "'More or less,' what do you mean?" I asked. "Nothing. Tell me more about this 'hell-ish' experience you had," he said, successfully changing the topic.
"We had to go through dance lessons together," I answered simply. Vince gave me a knowing look, "Don't say it so simply! Everytime we'd dance, it was always a game to see how many times you could step on my feet," he said, "I'm not sure why I had to take the lessons with you; I was perfectly fine at dancing." I shurgged, "Maybe because you had to teach me even after the teacher explained it," I said. "Why'd you guys have to learn how to dance?" Zavier asked. "Good question. It's because we were going to the Masquerade Ball. I think Vince and I were both seven years old," I said, remebering the good times we had.
"Have you ever wanted to meet the prince?" Zavier asked suddenly. Vince and I looked at each other, then back to Zavier. Vince answered first, "I don't swing that way, but when I was younger, I wanted to see if the prince could fight," he said grinning widely. I answered next, "For me... I'm not so sure. I mean, I've heard rumours about the prince being very handsome and other stuff, but I've never seen his face nor have I heard about his personality," I said, remembering something about the Masquerade Ball. Vince looked at me, and basically read my thoughts, "Remembering things from the past?" he asked, chuckling slightly. "This seems fascinating. Mind sharing with us?" I heard Zavier ask next to me.
