Entry 5:
Sometime I can see things. I guess it's just the monster that is in me that can see them. So I'm guessing it's normal. But when can I actually begin to see the importance of tis monstrosity in me? I need someone to help me...even if it's just a small push... so I could see the truth.

The song that Zavier and I danced to, ended up being the last song. After the song, the Queen announced that the Ball was over, and we could either go home, or stay and talk a little more. "Dusk!" I heard my mom call. "I guess you're playing Cinderella's role tonight," I heard Xavier say. "Sure," I said laughing.
My dad walked up, kind of blowing off Zavier, "Are you ready, Dusk?" he asked me with a grin on his face. I nodded, and looked at Zavier, "I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Bye, Zavier," I said. My dad walked with me outside, and we went home. As soon as I changed and got on my bed, I fell asleep immediately.
The next morning, I woke up early. I was able to talk to Carla for a few seconds, until Zavier came. "Excuse me, but can I borrow Dusk real quick?" I heard him ask Carla. She eyed him, "Fine. I'll talk to you later, Dusk," she said, walking away. I looked up at Zavier's gray eyes, "You're going to make me lose my best friend," I said.
"You won't lose her. Now when I say this, please keep an open mind," Zavier said. "What?" I asked. "I need you to meet me afterschool, by this tree. I'll explain in detail," he said. I looked at him warily, "What are you getting at?" I asked. "You'll see..." he said. For a split second, I saw a faint smile on his face.
For some reason, the whole day went by in a blur, and I was barely able to talk to Carla. When the last class finished, I walked over to the agreed meeting spot. Zavier was there in a blink of an eye, too. "Well?" I asked. "We're going to do a job together," he stated. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I mean, we're going to work as a team for money. I already found us a great mission for today," he said.
"Wait a moment. I already have a part-time job," I lied. "So? You earn more money this way," he said, "Plus human jobs are boring." I tilted my head, "How do you know that?" I asked. "How do I know human work is boring? I've worked before, and I know a lot of things," he said simply. "O...k... so what do we do for this mission?" I asked.
"Well, we need to wait until it is dark, it's better then," he said. "Okay, well... I'm going to go home," I said, walking off. He caught up to me, "C'mon! Don't be like that! Please work with me," he said. I stopped, "I never said I wasn't going to help you. Now let's go, we can hang out at my house for a couple of hours," I said.
When we got to my house, no one was home. We passed time by watching TV and starting on our assignment. Zavier glanced outside, "Are you ready?" he asked. "Most likely," I sighed. "Okay, let's go," he said. We both used maximum speed to get to the school, not wasting any time. "So what's this mission?" I asked.
Zavier looked at me "Ghosts. I found a flyer at one of the shops in the town of the Paranormal, stating that the school was being haunted. At first, I thought it was a scam, but recently I've heard rumors about people seeing it," he explained. I nodded, "So we're going to play 'Ghostbusters,' and try to capture this ghost?" I asked. "Capture it, and set it free," he said.
We walked in, and I immediately noticed how creepy the school is at night. I didn't hear or see anything, but I did smell sulfur. "You can smell it, can't you?" Zavier asked. He was very calm and collected, while I looked at everything, trying to see if something would jump out and scare me. When we turned the corner, I felt a shiver go down my spine. I stopped in my tracks, and couldn't move. That's when I heard it... the worst sound you'd think was never possible... the sound of someone screaming/growling.
Zavier kept walking, and I still couldn't move. I was running out of breath for some reason, and I couldn't speak. The only thing I could think of, was transforming into the wolf, and escaping. I did as my instinct told, as Zavier got out of sight. Right when I was going to let the wolf take over, I was set free. As I collapsed on the ground, gasping for air, Zavier was there in a flash. "What happened?" he asked. I could tell he was nervous. I couldn't see what got a hold of me, but it felt so real... or was it just some illusions...?
